I've played Halo Reach alot. The last 4 months, not so much. But I've been getting back into it. Which has got me thinking, Is it too late? Will Halo 4 kill Halo Reach's Playerbase?

Good question. Personally, I think so. Most players will probably migrate to Halo 4. Look at Halo 3 now, there's like 6k people online for Team Slayer; it's depressing, and it takes like 7 minutes (real estimate) to find a match. Dunno if it'll be that bad, but it will probably drop a bit.

Anyway, Bungie doesn't own Halo anymore, man. You should probably post this on 343i's site -- they're the ones that own the Halo Universe now, and run both Halo 4 and Reach. Technically, I suppose you could post it in either their Halo: Reach forum or their Halo 4 forum.

If you prefer to stay on good ol' Bnet, I think you could post this in our Reach forum, but I'd go with the 343 one. ;)

Well spank my balls and call me Santa, it's Easter already!

It really depeds on how godd Halo 4 is. I imagine 343 will cut down the amount of playlists to cater for the reduced community, and it would be interesting to see how it is in its final stage, seeing as it seems to evolve so regulally.

I'm trying to become an '04, but it's not working too well."

Bungies next IP will kill the Halo 4 playerbase.
