anyway, I really do wish you would be more precise in your entry. I got an impression similar to the following: "I used up all of my eraser; therefore, there is no point in having a pencil."
Personally, with Bungie, it's the campaign that defines the multiplayer. Let there be beautiful environments and awesome gameplay, but in the end, what does it all mean? The campaign sets the stage for what you're looking at.
It's pretty much what the Bungie guys said in the special edition CD that accompanies the game (pre-ordered versions only). They said they want you to play campaign, then go "OMG I know that place!" when playing multiplayer. If the campaign is good, and assuming all elements from H2 are there, then Halo 3 will slap the wrinkles off your granny's face faster than driving 130mph through a hospital zone while being chased by ninjas... and the ninjas are all on fire, too.
