Quick as a razor, sharp as a bullet.

i was watching a tv prog earlier about the bermuda triangle.
i know it's been confirmed that the ark is the thing in the trailer but what if the ark was under the sea in the bermuda triangle and the cause of all the dodgy things that happen there?

also, gravemind says i am a monument to all your sins. now this may be a biblical reference, but it may be a literal reference to the relationship between humans and forerunners.
my theory is that the forerunners were experimenting for immortality with biological things and created the flood by accident (who technically are immortal). they built the halos to contain, study and destroy the flood.
the humans as has been mentioned a number of times, have a relationship with the forerunners. gravemind, like 343, may be getting confused as to whether chief is human or forerunner, and that the flood is a "monument to all your sins", may be refering to the fact that the chase for immortality may be considered immoral, hence the flood is a monument to the sins of the forerunners.

Well, wikipedia explains that the bermuda triangle is just a hoax and that the number of incidents that occur there occur anywhere else on the ocean as well. However, I could be wrong about this cause the article on wikipedia is under disputes of authenticity.

If 4 out of 5 people suffer from constipation, does that mean the 5th one enjoys it???

It would make soms sense of the Ark was under the ocean and it was causeing the Bermuda Triangle incidents but as Bungie has said, that is the Ark.

Only way that could ever be possible were if there were more than one platform of the Ark. Unlikely, but you never know.

Saboteur.

Dude, the bermuda triangle is east if North America and Sount America, Im not sure if its east of north or south america, but the point is that the ark is in africa, confirmed by frankie in one of the weekly updates, so how would the bermuda triangle have any relation location wise, to somewhere which is 1000's of kms away?

Sorry, forgot to comment on the other theory.

I like the idea but I can't think of a plausible explanation as to why the Flood would be considered immortal. They're reanimated bodies of the dead. Unless you care to explain further.

the flood creatures go on a constant life cycle. the infection forms latch on to a dead/live body, it becomes a combat form. eventually, it becomes to badly damaged for battle and becomes a carrier form. the life cycle restarts as the infection forms are released again.

Not that I recall.

Referring back to your theory, the cycle does not mean they're immortal, just extremely resilient to kill.

Quick as a razor, sharp as a bullet.

maybe one of the spores in each wobbler is the orignal spore that infected the body for it to become a wobbler

resilient to kill?

how does that work?

don't tell me now, im going to bed

Nice ideas Tartan.

You just pointed out the only logical reason I have seen thus far for Gravemind saying "I am a monument to all your sins".
