There's no way Nate Hawbaker's favorite hero is Alan Stuart
ALAN IS A BEAUTIFUL MAN!
Thread. Strand. String. Wire. Fiber. All these are similar, yet so unalike. Why are our discussions known as 'threads'?
Does it represent the fabric we are intricately woven into as a community? Or does it mean a fleeting glance into what could be? Are we strong, or easily broken? Malleable, or stubborn?
Thread. It is strong. It must be picked apart piece by piece until it lays broken and crumpled on the ground. It is us, and is a part of us. No man can defeat the thread.
Thread. It is weak. It can be snipped in half, and thrown to waste. It is us, and is a part of us. Anyone can defeat the thread.
Thread. We are tall and proud. We stand above all opposition. But inside we are weak. We bring ourselves down, and others with us. We are like a piece of bent wire. We are disjointed. We are angry.
Thread. We are invincible. We are unbreakable. We bring ourselves up, and others with us. We are blood brothers. We are unstoppable. We are euphoric.
Thread. We are a vessel. Inside we breathe. We complete tasks that are phenomenal to the onlooker. We check, double check, triple check each other, 'till all fault is erased. We are an anthill, and they are the shoe.
Thread. We are a memory. We are a strand. Everyday a new piece of information is added to this community. Everyday we change someone's life. Everyday our lives are changed. We change. We stop. This place won't change. This place won't stop. This place has become a part of you, and you have become a part of it.
We are the Bungie.net Community.
Thank You, Bungie, for never stopping
Thank You, Community, for never ending.
And with that, I bid you good night.
