Subject: Group/Mains posting...

Do you post a thread in the main forums than go into your private group(s) and create the same thread? If yes, why do you do this?

What if I told you...

I hate you

Who the hell do you think I am?

I do that sometimes.

Positive vibes.

Very rarely do I do that.

I rarely make threads at all. So no.

cars, girls & cake all day everyday

I did it once to collect a wider range of opinions on a topic I needed a wide range of opinions on, but if I ever do something like that, mostly it might be a post in an off-topic thread across several groups, something to provoke discussion. (or a completely random thread so people can call me a terrible poster)

No. But I have witnessed certain individuals stealing a topic and copy/paste it in another group forum like it was all their own.

It's lame, and yes, I'm watching.

I've seen that as well and it's kinda annoying.

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Try something a few thousand times, and your chances of success is exponentially increased; this increase would likely provide success every time

To my recollection I've only ever done it once, and it was just for more lulz.

This.

If I'm going to create a thread, it'll be in a private group. I don't really see the need to create threads in the Septagon and I get better ideas from people in groups than in the Flood.

The mains have lost their appeal to me entirely.

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

I don't make many threads in my chapters I mostly participate in those created by others. However if I do make a thread in a chapter it always started there, then if I feel like it I also post it on the mains.

I do that because if I'm in a chapter I'm in it because of the unique viewpoint it has so I want to keep that discussion separate from the mains.

Ya know, reading all the responses shocked me a bit and kind of gave me a general overview of the main forums these days....The fact that they've lost appeal to some of you kinda makes me sad.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

I hardly ever do that. I try to keep all my threads original.

Not really. I used to be in a group with >10k members so every topic used to get posted and talked about anyway.

Sometimes I do this, but only to get more opinions. If it's off-topic it goes to the flood so it dies off quickly but if I post it to the private grouo its life span is longer.

Inappropriate. Went a little to far with the butt hole tearing.

I'm an attention whore, so I do it to get off.

Hello, I'm Mr AwesomePizza. I like pizza and I'm a man. Reasoning for the name. I like to listen to the classics of music, write poetry, play video games, and much much more. I'm always down for a nice chat, so please hit me up for some conversation.

I use to do that a lot, but now I rarely do.
