If there is gravy, well then everything will be alright.

Why is it that the stories and re-playability of games now a days have gotten so short. I'm tired of seeing games that have 4 hour speed runs with multiplayer set up for uncommitted and untalented youth. Why has no developer realized that they can capture the market if they can make an FPS that takes 24 solid hours to do a quick run through. What happened to levels meaning something too. Battlefield 2 and Halo 2 pre-update got it right. If 50 is the highest level; then only a hand full of people ought to be able to make it. Hint to Bungie here. I'm not the only one tired of over simplified games. If they really want to conquer the world they'll build the deepest game on Xbox to date. Frankly I'd pay more for a game that actually has a captivating staying power.

Halo 2 did it? Ah... you can do a speed run a lot faster than four hours... that is why it is called a speedrun mate...

One playthrough of Dark Souls can take 45-70 hours. The speedrun record is 35 minutes.

Ad Infinitum

Because everyone has the same definition of a solid shooter as you do.

Honestly, this must be a joke. Child, listen, stop trying to defend yourself because clearly you are incapable of it. The only idiot in this thread is yourself, and trust me, it is obvious. So, how about you do as I asked earlier and log off, mommy and daddy wouldn't want you staying up this late.

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”

When will they ever learn...oh when will they ever learn...?

Dude, search for it yourself, it's really really easy. (hint, this took me three seconds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vd8bCBkKst8)

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

People ran through mass Effect 3 in 6=7 hours.

My initial playthrough was around 27 hours.

Some people take things fast, some people take things slow.
