Unto the Fray we go

I'm interested in old games and have since wanted to try Gnop.

Problem is, I can't seem to find an near-original version compatible for a Modern PC

Also, Gnop was a mac game, and what I mean by near-original is the same graphics at the original but with a few fixes

Hello, I'm Mr AwesomePizza. I like pizza and I'm a man. Reasoning for the name. I like to listen to the classics of music, write poetry, play video games, and much much more. I'm always down for a nice chat, so please hit me up for some conversation.

You can't have, sorry. =(

It's possible. The only problem is that you need to run an emulated version of Mac OS 9. There's a program that is called SheepShaver that you will allow you to do it, but not easy to setup.

Edit: Here's a video for example where I play the early Bungie games, which is on my PC.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

If you have played Pong, it is almost EXACTLY the same as GNOP.

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”

Fleeting thought for a silly community project:
Create a custom distro and load it with all of Bungie's old PC games, then run it on a virtual machine.

Unsure of legality of this though, as it would probably involve using either a copy of Windows or Mac OS.

I think that's the point.

There's part of it that's just a little backwards.

Meh. It's easier than it sounds.

Plus, it's not legal, unless you happen to own a copy of the Mac OS 9 installation disc, and a key.
