Here you go.

Does anyone remember Plunderfull, the one who thought he had the ideas to make Reach more competitive, but end up backfiring. Well it turns out that his favourite AA will no longer be abused in Arena and well, he aren't too happy about it. I mean, we all hate Duke Nukem wannabes, right? That's how much I hate JP, if I can get my friends to try Arena once again, then consider me joining your cause in making Arena playable.

Two makes there more than speakers.

Now, if we can just get rid of it entirely.

I posted a lengthy response to why it should not have been in arena

Never liked that guy.

Most of the people on that site I really don't like. I can stand them, but vary few of them I like.

Ohai, I'm Loscocco (pronounced Loss-cocoa). I'm a college student (computer science major), 3D animator, and long-time Halo player.

He seriously strikes me as the kind of guy that wants to tailor the game to every ridiculous thing that he wants just because the competitive community does it too. The main difference is that the competitive community generally knows what good gameplay looks like.

Example: out of the 7500 games of Reach that he has played, only 12 were in arena, yet he feels the need to complain and tell everyone how it should play. By his playlist records, it looks like he has never played a competitive game in his entire life, but he, somehow, feels justified to tell everyone what competitive Halo should be.

In short, he is the March update.

I want someone to debate my post in that thread.

You should post this over there. But you probably would get in trouble for attacking, and stat flamming. Which is a complete joke.

Eh, he's not worth debating with and getting banned over. Last time I debated why Armor Lock slows the game down, he just took every argument that I threw at him, which countered all of his points, and pretended that they didn't exist while arguing the irrelevant parts of every post I made; it was like arguing with a brick wall.

A lot of the time debating with people that have different opinions on gameplay leads to nothing because everyone is stubborn.

Very true, but some people debate the wrong things and are unqualified to justifiably argue a specific topic, yet think that they can/should speak for everyone.

Most people that spout the "adapt" argument when it comes to a mechanic that slows gameplay down clearly have no clue how the mechanic works at high levels, but think that the people that do play at high levels and do know how detrimental the mechanic is should just cater to their ignorant logic.

My words exactly. But the thing is, we can't confront them on it. It's like 343i wants them to feel secure over there so they'll have an easy sale.

PSR = (((K+A)/D)*Win%)*120
The average player's PSR = 100

His favorite AA is armor lock, not jet pack.

He and that Puntificator guy are probably the two most annoying posters on Waypoint. They are both terrible players that have to have their input heard on every little subject. It'd be easy enough if they were posting here and you could basically just say: "You're bad and you don't know what you're talking about" but at Waypoint that just leads to an instant ban. It wouldn't be so annoying if they would actually listen to reason instead of arguing the same retarded points over and over again.

This one kid on that site. He made a post about the removal of "Sword Block". Basically he was all butt hurt because of it. Any post that didn't agree with him. He reported them for trolling.

That's one of the things I hate about that site. How are you suppose to be discussion that stuff. If you're not aloud to use the persons stats against them? Most of the time stat things are biased. But for stuff like that it's one of the times it's not. It helps you prove your point better.

Someone can make a post that [insert weapon here] takes no skill to use. But they have horrible stats with it. So in response you make a post that's something similar to this: "If it takes no skill to use. Then how come you're horrible with it?" But of course that would count as stat flamming.

The real problem is that it's not hard to debate them without usin stats, but their own opinions are so flawed that they reject any logical or reasonable response, which is when you'd normally pull stats to establish credibility.

What I find to be the most irritating thing about their interpretation of "stat flaming" is that you can't even mention the amount of games someone has played. Right now with all the threads about Squad's removal there are a regular group of poster who are trying to say that it's because of th population. Those posters have played 20 games of squad on average, but you cant say "you didn't even play it so how would you know" because according to waypoint that is stat flaming.

That forum is a -blam!- joke.

This made me laugh, I dont play arena. I think I should because I always find my team let me down in slayer because they dont do what I would want them to do. This makes me a bad player as I dont play well as a team, Im only good in a team when its my friends but that just means telling them the location of the guy camping that killed you... I think I will stick to playing griff ball... team work oh the irony! :D
