Halo reach is a violent shooting game, it involves killing but no where near games like GTA

I have to write an argumentative paper for my college english class about how video games don't aid violent urges/ intensions/ behaviors.

I want to use Reach as one of my examples of a medium between too violent and just regular fun FAKE violence gameplay.

Does any body have some suggestions on how I can use reach and other games to defend video games as entertainment that does not cause violent behavior in its users? Such as; an argument against teen's and their immature actions caused by video games are evidence against the innocence of video games.

or some other argumentative claims that I can make in the defense of video games..because i don't know if you heard about this, but apparently there was an incident in America 2006 where an 18year male named Devin Moore killed 3 cops and blamed it on video games saying he was imitating GTA *face palm*, but its an valid argument claim that i have defend against and is "legendarley" difficult to defend against so I would appreciate any suggestions, evidence, or facts to support my claim

(video games in general, not specifically shooting games)

I'm not racist, I own a colored TV

A good argument is to use yourself/someone else or a group of people that play video games.

For example:

I played violent video games since I was 11 (GTA SA :D). I have never been suspended and I only fight during boxing instruction.

Another argument you can use is mental stability. Analyse the 2006 incident and try to make people who claim that video games are the cause of violence to be unstable mentally.

You can do this by looking at their history before they started playing video games. How was family life? Did the father hit the mother or the person? Where did he live? Was it in the ghetto? Things like that. I am very good at persuasive writing. It is all about changing someone elses points against them in ways they can't recover.

Also, remember your audience and who you are writing to. Send across a message they can relate too.

PS. This is my first post that I haven't trolled in a while.
So, yeah.
