Me and my friends have developed and named several multiplayer strategies for flag captures. Some are more complex than others but this is one of my favorites. Let me explain. (also, when posting your own strategies please list important information such as number of players required, level, which base, and weapons used.

Operation Leapfrog ( through a funny inside joke we now call the warthogs bullfrogs)

Players required- 3
Guns- All with shotgun and pistol
Level- blood gulch going towards red or blue base

You load 3 people in a hog and drive to the enemy base once you are near out front, and about to crash into their base have the passenger get out and do the jump thing to get on top of their base and have the gunner face back and get out (launching him onto the top) the driver then turns and drives to the enemy warp exit, one guy drops into the base grabs the flag and quickly throws it to the guy on the roof who goes through warps. The driver then swings by and the guy with the flag does the quick jump in (into the side seat) and you ride off into the sunset (or your base to score i guess). With more players you can do slight variations of this plan with sniper cover or have a second hog parked and guarded at their warps i just listed the minimal requirements.

Or for an even simpler plan with 2 ppl, have the guy in the gunner seat and have him do the leap into the enemy base landing on their flag he then runs out back where the driver did a counter-clockwise turn around the base and picks you up at the back with a side seat hop.

if you didn't understand or want clarification on one of these please ask! ; D

Let's hear some of your super fast game winning operations.

well for the out of the back hop- you have the driver go at full speed, the gunner faces back and gets out it should (if done correctly) launch the gunner high into the air.

onto the base from passenger seat- same as from driver seat right before you hit the base, get out and jump the momentum should be enough to get you on top.

and the side seat hop in- just press X as a team mate drives past you in a hog, this can be done with the gunner seat to but is slightly more difficult

Also- you can get out of the side seat and into the gunner seat while the hog is drivin at full speed (takes some skill though)

Ya ive seen them all get done in a movie I wondered how though. Also if you want to see my strategy go here theres no way Im typing that again.

also could you explain the gunner launching thing in full detail please, do you just look straight back or do you look straight back up then press x then a really fast? Ive heard how so many times Ive got no clue what to do.

I've got a code/ play book with at least 60 different strategies. Each of which work for CTF, King of The Hill, and Oddball on nearly every vehicle. They are so good my team of 4 can take on 12 and win 10 captures to 0. The tactics are also very obvious because of their Halo relations.

The setting is Sidewinder. There is a ten second respawn growth and it is 4 on 12. Before the game we decide whose job is which. I was given the task of Kelly. Once I got back I would be thrown into playing Linda for a while. A legit Linda at that, not some scum sucking ****** that sits around and plays with his dick all day. Meanwhile my other three team members pulled a Control Room and CENSORED. After I returned with the flag we decided that we should screw with their heads with a little bit of a Nursery and a Fire Team Zulu.

30 minutes later they were hurting. Badly. No captures for them, 4 for us. We like to take our time. Lower the enemy morale a bit. Helps a lot when you are outnumbered 3-to-1. After our successful Fire Team Zulu I gave the Remember Reach order. We got the flag at the cost of two team members. I gave another similar order shortly there after. I called being Sam. I took out 8 pasty bastards before I died. The team got the flag however.

Another hour later, enemy morale was at rock bottom and I just waltzed in, got a 9 kill killtacular (I won't say how that is possible. Smart people would know.) Pulled another Kelly and got my ass out of there winning the match 10-0.

That sound good enough for yah? No fancy exploiting, just good honest/fair tactics.

I will explain the two you asked for. Any more than that and I would be in serious trouble with the SSDF(Sol System Defense Force).

Kelly- On maps with vehicles, take a Ghost and rush the enemy base. Get in and get out. Be fast and don't get hit. You can do it without vehicles, but it is hard.

Fire Team Zulu- In Assualt on the Control Room there are lots of vehicles. You fight alongside Fire Team Zulu on that level while inside those vehicles. Everyone mounts up and heads out. 1 on a Ghost, 1 on Scorpion, and two on the Warthog. Make continous attacks with these vehicles as a tightly knit pack and take down the enemy.

Sorry any more detail than that and I am screwed over......we monitor each others' posts.

1 hour a day and three on weekends. I also own all three books and have read The Fall of Reach 23 times and First Strike 10. I read the Flood three times. Once when I bought it, another to just read for what little fun I could get out of it, and the last to count the innacuracies within it. I also only play Legendary only and rarely die anymore with only human weapons. By rarely I mean rare. Like almost never anymore. Plus I am writing a very long and very detailed fan fiction at halo.bungie.org that seems to be going over very well. I call it The Fallen: Halo 2.

If you think that is bad you should read this. Very useful information. Sad this is I don't like to brag, but I believe everyone should have a bit more Halo knowledge under their belt.

Here is my claim to fame

And yes I have too much time on my hands.
