maybe its just me but it seems more tan than green
well color does get worn out, and if you look at his feet, its dirt covering it, and that looks pretty cool.
nice to hear somthing new for a change
Halo's a hell of a drug.
IGN has a video about this. They think it maybe that he's in the desert so it's all the sand reflecting off the metal, or it may be a new suit. No one knows not even Bungie.
New upgrades with lots of stains. Yes, MC is a messy eater.
Maybe that's how we'll see his face. He has to lift up the visor to eat his Chef Boyardee.

My vote says its an olivish-brown instead of the cool, old green.
Agreed
The Marty ArmyAh, look at the lonely people...
If you read the books, it mentions a similar thing happening to Cheif's suit, pre-Halo:CE. From a long time's use, the armour loses it's olive sheen and turns a worn olive brown (like in the trailer).
Perhaps when he got to earth he decided to roll around in the dirt and act like a dirty piggy.
How does he maintain his composure?!

his armor looks da bomb he looks like hes just kicked alot of covenant @$$[Edited on 5/29/2006]
my theory is that he had to walk through the desert for a long time. remember when one of the guys working on halo 2 said that Miranda strapped a bomb to MC's back and shoved him down a hole? well i think that's what happened and MC got it off and had to walk through the desert and so on and so forth...that might also explain why his suit is a bit more damaged looking, bomb went off and he survived it?[Edited on 5/29/2006]
