It's fictional but still based on WW2. It's about the SOE British Resistance in France. The name is Jackdaws and is by Ken Follett. Awesome book.

Straight facts? I know much about WW2 just from the History Channel but I havent read much about factual events. I am reading at the moment a book called, "On to Berlin: Battles of an Airborne Commander 1943-1946." It's turning out really well with the specific facts the book presents ans the detailed maps the book exhibits about the different locales a paratrooper had to fight in.
