I'm about as slightly above average as you can get.

It doesn't really affect gameplay, but it looks kind of weird in ZB.

I'm the cult of personality,
I call it like i see it, if i feel the need to be blunt and to the point, then i will, if i feel the need to be very detailed, i will, im here to stay and im here to do things my way, if you respect that or not is your choice, not mine,
and don't worry, while i don't agree with everyone's opinion, i do respect everyone's opinion.

to be honest, i dont think bloom in general has any place in halo, Halo CE/2/3 never needed bloom, and those games where more fun then reach imo.

Lemme correct you.
Prior to Reach.....
-Weapons never had visual bloom.
-Precision weapons never had bloom, minus CE pistol held in full auto like a derp.
-Fun is subjective.

That doesn't mean we can't improve the series. Reach bloom was bad, but the idea behind bloom was to have players account for rate of fire as well as accuracy (increasing the skill gap), instead of just accuracy with the previous Halos, which is a novel idea.

It's just too bad Reach put a sour taste in people's mouths concerning the umbrella term that is bloom.

allow me to correct you and better explain my post, i never said Halo CE/2/3 had bloom, what i said was that the series never needed bloom, though reach added it anyway, that being said i like halo ce/2/3 better.

true, though i doubt 343 will add bloom with halo 4, seeing as they want to follow cannon.

either way i think halo, even if they do it right, halo would be better off without bloom, in terms of halos sandbox i hope 343 sticks with Halo 3s, simply becuase imo Halo 3s sandbox was way more unpredictable then reachs, and the map design in halo 3 was also better then reach imo.

Problem with your statement is... bloom was always there since CE.

we are talking about visual bloom, and according to your previous statement, only the Halo CE pistol had bloom, so you just went against your own post.

-Visual bloom simply shows the actual bloom.

-The CE pistol was the only PRECISION weapon with actual bloom.
Nowhere do I talk about all the other weapons

-Please read my posts correctly.

<3

I think the coolest armour affect would be Flower bloom instead of a flame bloom. (Flowers would erupt out of the barrel)

i think you ultimately miss the point of my post entirely at this point, your petty attempts to *correct* me are funny,

heres the point, you cant correct an opinion, thats what my post is, i know all the halo games had some bloom, but here is the key point, we are talking about VISUAL BLOOM, not bloom in general, my post was a general post about bloom being in halo, thus its an opinion, and an opinion can not be corrected, thus this petty arguement you insist on starting will lead nowhere,

Halo doesnt need visual bloom *or any bloom* to be kept or added, or to be more spacific, i think it should be more in line with halo 3s *bloom*, which, [refering back to my previous statement] is an opinion, no where did i state it as fact, sense it isnt fact and merely opinion, it cannot be corrected, therefor your waisteing your time trying to *correct* me,

and i have read your posts, but im starting to doubt you even read mine, and even if you did i doubt you actualy understood what i ment or what im trying to say in the first place, there is nothing for you to try and correct, it is an opinion.

Reticle expansion is only the representation of bloom, not bloom itself.
Visual representation of bloom is more of an accurate definition of that.
Taking away that visual representation would not remove the bloom.
Bloom being in Halo is not an opinion, it's a fact.

Halo does need bloom, to some extent.
Assault rifles not using a form of bloom would be, overpowered, since the bullets would always fire with precision.

Where "opinions" could come into play is on what type of bloom could be used.

You seem to believe opinions cannot be corrected.

My opinion = water is red and the earth is flat.
Guess you can't correct it and it must be correct since correction cannot be done.
