I am...whimsical today.

Only in really specific areas, like taking down a whole platoon of grunts or something.

Gauss Cannons fire massive chunks of metal at such highspeeds to get the chunk superheated. It will be impossible to make it handheld. Stupid Idea.

The chaingun needs to be mounted on something or else the kickback would make any type of shooting straight impossible. Another stupid idea.

Well, if they can do it in Predator, then the MC can do it, so the Chaingun is definately plausable. The gauss gun would have an immense amount of recoil, but i think the MC could handel it.

If they had a really dimmed version of the turret, made it mobile but very hard to move, then yeah it might be okay.

Jaffer for the win!

"Hey! I heard you fellas taste.... just like chicken!!"

None, a mobile turret could be okay. If you carry it you wouldnt be able to use weapons at all, maybe grenades only.

i think it would be cool if you could carry around turrets that take a few seconds to set up and then fire (like in call of duty 2). it wouldnt work to well to have someone running around with a guass cannon... it would be too powerful.

  • 05.29.2006 11:56 AM PDT

Yeah, if you could like disassemble turrets and then move them to another location, I think that would be pretty cool. It would keep things interesting. Not handheld, though.
