Subject: banned from matchmaking for quitting...yet i havent been quitting...

My internet connection seems fine, sometimes glitchy but nothing too horrible. But today almost every single game, i get the searching for new host screen and then everybody but me is gone from the game and the game is over and i get the postgame stats page. When you quit a game, you dont get that. When you quit a game, it doesnt count towards the daily challenge of COMPLETING 20 GAMES. Can't exactly complete the game and have it count if you're quitting now can you? NO. So why am I getting banned for quitting when it is the Halo Reach server disconnecting me and other people from my game? And also couldn't they just simply see, "oh yeah, she is getting the credit towards her challenges, so that means she isn't quitting from the games, maybe we should change it so she doesnt get banned." Talk about pain in the butt. Yes, i realize it is a 10 minute ban, yes i also know that there is more to life than games. But tell me, what is the point of buying games to sit down and relax and enjoy when you cant do it without crap like this happening!

Please, is there anyway i can fix this issue?

Thanks to everyone who left helpful/ polite comments. I have the issue under control(for now) it seems there was an issue with the internet provider that day even though internet was good throughout other electronics. So thanks again!

The Renaissance Man; The Bigger Fool.

Sounds like your internet is the cause of the problem. When you go to Network Status what does it say?

kill me and ill haunt u

If that were the case people could probably just disconnect the console and reconnect it to the internet. This in turn would probably fool there servers into thinking that you lost connection to a game.

Very offensive. Some people don't have the luxury of having money to pay for reliable internet. On top of that there are many factors that can be happening. Distance from exchange, connection speed, NAT, upload speed, etc. What you want is at least 1 mb upload, open nat, and to be close to your exchange.

If you get ping rates above 75 you will have problems. Trust me I know but there is nothing I can do about it because my provider is garbage and the only one I have.
