Bungie should make an xbox live version of Halo 1. If they did they would make so much money it wouldn't even be funny. In fact the only way Microsoft will ever beat Sony is if they made Halo 1 Live or intergrated xbox tunneling software into the xbox360.

I got Halo PC...didn't like it as much as Halo XBox. Just wasn't responsive enough. I'd snipe a guy and it would take a split second for his shields to light up. Might not sound like much, but it can really throw off your aim. You need the instant feedback of the shields lighting up to adjust your second shot.

Shouldn't be my connection. I have 5 meg up and down. I've got a good computer. I won't go into all the stats...but it shouldn't be the issue. It just flat didn't feel the same to me.

I'd pay $100 for an XBox Live version of Halo 1. I've tried to get into Halo 2, but just can't. We did, and do play Halo CE on XBC together, in the same house. Great times!!! But, you just can't see as much with Halo 2. Too much is left off of the sides. Try playing split screen and it really shows. You get dissoriented very easily when you are near objects or meleeing someone. So, needless to say we stop trying to play together. I really think Halo 2, and more so XBox Live are built with the lone player in their house alone. It doesn't seem to be set up for a group of people playing on the same box. We never could get two boxes with XBL accounts signed on at the same time from the same location. Never had that problem with XBC.

They wouldn't do it. It would be too much of a risk taking a 5 year old game and putting new software onto it. Sure it might work but what if it doesn't? Bungie would probably go bankrupt. Only options are Xbox Conneect, or Halo PC. The reason why the shots aren't registering is because for some reason it lags and you have to make your shot a litle in front of the person if they're moving sideways.

They can't go bankrupt, they are owned by Microsoft. They could however add it as a bonus with Halo 3. I've seen games come out that have full versions of the originals.

I said this when Halo 2 first came out, Bungie if you want even more money, you would put Halo Online soo XBC did it and thats where 80% of users go, the HALO section

Yes, it is. But, since I paid $50 a year for XBox Live I would like to play Halo CE on it since to me it's still the best XBox title out there for multiplayer. I've had XBL since it came out. For over a year I played no game online because the ones I had IMHO sucked online. I think I was just to use to the brillance of Halo CE. Then Halo 2 came out and I was dissappointed. I don't hate it, I just don't think it's quite as good, or enjoyable as Halo CE was.

At the very least, if XBox Live just created their own tunneling software so we could play H1 through XBox Live, I'm sure more people would play it. Me and my friends still play H1 on XBC a couple times a month. It doesn't have nearly the same traffic it use to, and finding a game can take time. Most of the time spent looking for a game is just trying to get a box with the right enough people on it. We have 3 people. If we played against 3 singles, it would create to much lag. Waiting for a box of 3, or even a double and a single on XBC can take a while these days.

Even on this site you see a lot of people still don't know you can even play it online. A lot of people have never heard of XBConnect. I know I just stumbled across it. If they created a tunnling program for XBL, then more people would hear/know about it and more people would play Halo CE online.

They'd have to recode Halo for it to support XBL play, which they will not do. Maybe sometime down the road they'll do a redux of Halo with H3's engine or something, but Halo CE on XBox is as it is, and it will never change. Let it go.

Yes but what if Microsoft decided to ditch them if it failed. Remember they are taking Microsoft's money and even though it wouldn't even put a dent in what Bill Gates has for money I'm sure he'd still be pissed at them for failing and wasting some of his money. that's hiw buisnesses are now a days. They have to always gain more and more moneyand they can't lose anything.
