Hanger one I just shredded with the SMGs until ammo was out and I just threw 'nades like a boss while BRing.

My experience playing Cairo Station on Legendary

You can't compare them. Their only similarity is that they're first person shooters. You like one, the other, or both. I really wish that the public would stop comparing them. Battlefield and COD can be compared with relative ease.

COD= infestation of annoying 2year olds + excessive camping techniques

+ biggest reason why NOT to play COD= auto aim is default aim settings for campaign even on veterinarian level difficulty (so no challenge)

Halo Reach= variety of endless awesome (i know this isn't a good but i've got no other way to describe)

1. Do your own work. You wont get far with people helping you all the time.

2. A paper on video games? Really? Is there not some better topic like, how we could help our own country.

Fixed.

i am antisxeual, i love "doctor who", i want the letters P, H and D after my name someday and humanity's greatest accomplishment will be its own extinction

i know that this is arguable, and yes, i like halo better. here goes...

i believe halo is far superior in the category of story as it was the main reason so many were bought to begin with. it is a great universe, it is original, it has great design and amazing characters. i much prefer "you saved the universe and theres still stuff to do" as opposed to "you hanged him, the end"
after a while cod feels strained, like the story is just a required add on to the franchise as opposed to halo where it feels as though the story is the main theme

i believe cod has the trophy in multi-player simply because more people like it, i personally like halo better due to its customization. in cod there are more players, more games played and thus far more opportunities to correct mistakes made and as a Result has far more fans. i have to admit that there is an apparent reason that it is liked. in cod there is a lot of unlocking possible, and thus a return in the gameplay for those who play long enough. i dislike this as it seems to give (arguably) unfair advantages to those who play long enough, as opposed to the raw skill that halo requires.

in the category of community halo takes the cake since it has forge (one of the greatest customization tools ever) custom games, and many many options in game-type. there is file-share, there is a massively greater use of teamwork throughout all game-types. making a map that is all its own is far more impressive than simply coming up with a place to camp on one that is in already in the game.

in call of duty there is a far larger array of weapons than halo since it it is based off of real life. in halo there is far more diversity in the weapons in terms of applicability and damage ratios. i personally give my vote to halo as it is far more fun to play with the infinite tactical possibilities presented by halo's armory as opposed to the same-as-always rush and kill tactics of cod, since there is little else to do besides noob-tubing and quick scoping.

both games are equal on the amount of fun they provide being that i have found myself screaming in rage and joy on both games. however i like halo better since it more often provides that rush of excitement. whereas cod gives me more grief than relief

in conclusion: halo and cod are equal, in my OPINION halo is better for the myriad above, while cod can often fall short as a result of its fixed play-style and clearly dragged on campaign, lack of flexibility, and brute force tactics

p.s. hope this helps :)

and as a side note, the players are wildly different from children who are still learning to walk and come from broken homes(cod). To people who actually have the capability to show manners (halo) and, no that wasnt meant to be mean, just truthful.

i just wrote your paper for you ;)

One involves instant gratification, the other takes a little more work.

"It's Funny until someone gets hurt, then it's Freakin' Hilarious."

I hope you realize that halo introduced all the essential components COD uses today. I believe that halo was the first game to ever include a rebounding health meter, which was beyond genius.

Comparisons are similarities but you need your differences too. If you want to right a good paper then include both, don't half ass it.

"I'd have to say Lockout was the worst"

I'm pretty sure that's heresy, and that it conflicts with the "Code of Manliness" - page 792, section E subsection D paragraph 3.2. I suggest you relay that statement.

Halo Reach is more placement of persons and solid strategy based off algorithms, a series of if/then statements. Personal ability in accuracy plays a larger roll. Reach was the first game to introduce reticle bloom, but even with that in play the random bullet placement doesn't play too serious a roll. Call of Duty's gameplay uses a more realistic and random bullet spread which denotes skill a little bit.

Name's John. I'm a 21-year-old firefighter/EMT from lolhio who doubles as a die-hard Halo fan. I've been enjoying the franchise since 2001. My favorite iteration of Halo would have to be Halo 2 simply because I never got to experience the joy of a full-on Halo: CE LAN.

Oh yeah, and boot Zome.

The difference is simple.

One series is a collection of good games.

The other series has been around for a while.

Halo Noob, sort of, havent played since 1 and 2, who cares?

call of duty is done for, the original IW dev team left which actually had a HUGE impact on the multiplayer side of the series, if you read up on it, COD is legitimately going down the toilet.

halo has more options, they seem to do better online quality wise , lots of friends put down COD after MW3, most went back to either halo or other titles.

halo is better, halo sets the bar for online gameplay. enough said.
