i am antisxeual, i love "doctor who", i want the letters P, H and D after my name someday and humanity's greatest accomplishment will be its own extinction

do you prefer the halo reach health meter with the shields over the health bar that can take damage and be repaired like halo 1?

or do you like the halo 2/3 style with the infinite regenerating health and shields?

i prefer the system of halo reach and ce

Playing Halo: CE it makes me feel OCD if I don't have a full Health bar. It makes me more anxious to find a health pack because I want a complete full health bar. I'd say Halo: CE had the best because it makes you want to find a health pack more and heal yourself.

Life is a journey, if you spend all of it with your nose in your map, you may miss some of the best parts.

Halo 2/3's system was much better.

Health pickup system please, especially when it belongs to a hybrid system like Reach's and CE's.

We have disposable protective shields that regenerate in only a few seconds.
So why should our very vulnerable health regenerate as well?
I like knowing I can wear my enemy down.

Regenerating health is probably one of the worst popular things to catch on with shooters...especially if it doesn't make sense in the game.

I prefer the system without health.

I would prefer halo 2 or 3. Bleed through on top of having low health, will result in some very upsetting deaths.

So because other games have it means it's a bad thing?

It is when it doesn't even make sense at all with their game.
I may not like Halo 2 or 3's health mechanics where I can't even see my health bar, but it still fits with the shields and game itself at least. New fancy Spartan armor and what not.

Either way, I'd much rather know that the game isn't handholding or streamlining my experience just to keep me constantly in the action.

I want to keep track of my player. I want to make more combat decisions. I want risks. I'm not single-minded.

If my shields are down, I'll sit back and wait for them to recharge immediately. My shields decide between life or death most times. Only takes a few moments and the game continues on like normal. Gameplay pace unaffected.

But if my health got hurt during the same time, I'll try and find a health pack when I can to keep in top shape for next time.
I won't panic about it, afterall I have full shields again so I'm safe, but I at least like to know I'm weakened and need to take a risk for more health. It's my decision to slow down and find health for survival or stick to my guns and risk death without sidetracking myself.

It doesn't sit right with me if those few extra decisions or risks are cut out for the sake of 'simplifying things'.
