I've just been glancing through a rather interesting article over at Deviant Art.
It basically covers the future of story telling in video games and movies and what role we as members of the consumer base have in determining the development [or re-development] of titles. Of course it's a bit more complex than that, but I'm sure you'll all read through it.
My reason for posting it in the community forums is because it revolves around us, the community, and what role we play in the grand scheme of things.
Given the reaction of certain portions of the Bungie community to Halo Reach, and Bungie's secrecy about their next title, there were a few theme and topics in this article that piqued my interest, and I'm sure will engage you too.
Please have a read if you can [not sure if you need a dA account to read it] and offer some feedback, or thoughts and opinions.
Just as a heads up to any responders, I'll be absent for a while, so if I don't respond immediately, I'm not being rude ;)
