I tend to remember members with higher titles more than I do regular members.

Nope, for me it is the quality of the post.

Exactly! I'm usually unimpressed by alot of the posts that just quote someone and thats it. :P

Citizens of Me! The cruelty of the old Pharaoh is a thing of the past. Let a whole new wave of cruelty wash over this lazy land.

Hear the word of Pharaoh. Build unto me a statue of ridiculous proportion. One billion cubits in height......that I might be remembered for all eternity!

And be quick about it!

A little bit, but not too much.

  • 04.04.2012 9:41 PM PDT

Nope! It's the way the individual users posting style is, not by title.

There are three people I serve. God, Chuck norris, and Evilcam.

Barely.

I trust higher ranked people than normal members. But, I do not judge posts because of member titles. That's stupid.

Forge World, Crazy and Everywhere

I'm going to say most of the time, not in a bad way either, when I see a title bar that represents someones time with community it makes me happy to see people dedicated to the site.

It's also quite a feat, those titles are not easy to earn, and are a representation of how you behave on the website. They may act smug or a little knowitally but they obey the rules and provide good feedback in threads.

@Geegs30

Definitely. Title, name, avatar. It all gives me a quick first impression of a member. Do I hold them to that? Of course not. They can either confirm my thoughts, or act completely different, all depends on the content of their posts.

Troll confirmed. I never even insulted you

OP - You're a dumbass with the reading comprehension skills of a second grader.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with these two, this made me LOL hard.

I always think Mythic people tend to be more blue and depressing than any other members. For some reason, I think of pumpkin pies when I see a Forum ninja.

Inappropriate. Went a little to far with the butt hole tearing.

Employee = Tom Marvolo Riddle; annoying, big headed try-hards.
Forum Ninja = Harry Potter; people who have died and come back to life.

Mythic = Hermione Granger; cool and sexy posts.
Legendary = Ron Weasley; funny and gets the odd hot chick.
Heroic = Ginevra Weasley; getting somewhere and are sometimes hot.
Member = Vincent Crabbe; trolls.

:D I'm just kidding.

The ones with Intrepid/Fabled and activity title just means they post a lot. Usually when they post they don't have brains in their heads. I like to think that they didn't 'earn' those titles.
Remember that Honourable, Veteran, Noble, Senior and Elder are all underneath intrepid and fabled with regards to prefix priority. They could have a perfect history. You shouldn't make that sort of judgement.

Being alone.
You're a mod, you should be used to that.

Not at all, go look at my profile.

I have created one of the most successful groups on bungie.net. I have been here since 2007, reached honorable legendary member twice, heroic three times, etc , etc. And look at me now...

Hello, I'm Mr AwesomePizza. I like pizza and I'm a man. Reasoning for the name. I like to listen to the classics of music, write poetry, play video games, and much much more. I'm always down for a nice chat, so please hit me up for some conversation.

Nope.
I'll read through all the posts, member or mythic I don't care. I've met people with low titles that I like and people with high titles that make me unhappy. It all depends on their post. If their post is in a good quality, even if it disagrees with my own opinion, I like that person. Simple as that.

Current members of the Gnome Empire:
Fridge Gnome
Freezer Gnome
Blender Gnome
Oven Gnome
Da Chrome Gnome
Zomb1e Gnome

Posts by normal members aren't even worth my superior time to read.

Kidding, but I probably do let a blue bar effect my first impression.

  • 04.05.2012 5:08 AM PDT

I'm awesome...No seriously I am.

Sometimes.
When I ask a question and its answered by a Mythic or Someone who has been here for a while I kind of expect a thought out answer, but that is not always true. Sometimes when I'm answered by a member They come up with a well thought out response to my question that is sometimes better than how some higher titled person would answer it.
