I am Balasar D-Estelle Spartan 000.

The subject I bring to the table is the subject of booting in game. I bring this subject up because I have had my share of being booted for FIRST offense. I would like to know how many people think first offense is best or if second offense is better. I just was booted out of a Big Team Battle for a first offense warthog accident. I clipped a kid with the side in a in-closed map. He immediately booted me for the betrayal. I had no time to tell him it was an accident nor did he think about it. Would love to see improvement to Reach and future games for this issue. Comment and give you opinion.

Life is a journey, if you spend all of it with your nose in your map, you may miss some of the best parts.

Get over it.

Learn to drive the Warthog and you won't get booted. My opinion? You didn't get booted because of the betrayal but because of your inability to drive without hitting teammates.

1. You betray too often if you're getting the boot after one
2. Learn to drive

spiral out

I've always wondered if a vote-to-boot system would work. When someone gets a betrayal your team gets an option to vote to boot/forgive the player. If over 50% of your team votes to boot then they go.

That would be so easily abused

That's what I was thinking, too. But if you're playing with a team, they would forgive, and if you are playing with randoms, they would only boot you if you deserve it (except for the guy you killed, he would boot no matter what). Idk man.

Well when you turn a corner and swipe someone its not easy to avoid like I said it was a close quarters map. So no need to be a jerk...

No...

To3 searchs. Gets random to betray. All 3 vote to boot. No more random

I have a simple policy. You betray (and I get the option to boot of course) I boot. No exceptions, no second chance, no excuses, and no I won't listen to why you betrayed me because by default I have everyone muted =)

Only my friends reserve the right to stay in the match because I know for certain it was an accident and it happens almost never. I also have no regrets booting a random player who had less than 10 kills on the team. They were dead weight anyways. I don't recall ever getting even accidentally betrayed by good players ever.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Nicely ask 343i to turn off friendly fire for a month or so to see if it should be changes permanently.
Win-win.

Halo: Reach is the beginning of a new age for gaming.
It proves that developers can get away with punishing their players instead of fixing their game....and yet the fanboys will still sing praises to them.

-blam!- all of you fanboys!

Explain this.

Brand New player to the game, hasn't played a single match.

Hops in a ghost. starts boosting towards the enemy.
A friendly happens to evade right into his path and gets splattered.. Immediately booted for it.

No other history of games within Reach Whatsoever.

So explain to me how this game supposedly keeps track of betrayals and puts certain people on a first offense basis?

PLEASE!

Cause you're full of -blam!-.

And as for the guy who brags how he boots any random when given the chance....
Do you also complain about quitters by chance? But it's perfectly OK if you're the one forcing them to quit the game.. right?

And as far as learning to drive the warthog.
I was driving down the road the other day, it was dark. There were 3 teenage boys walking on the sidewalk.
Right as I'm passing, one of the dumbasses decides to step right in front of my Bronco going 45mph. Lucky for him, I missed.

Sometimes, there is nothign you can do, when you have stupid teammates that purposely throw themselves at you. So please.. STFU.

It's the opinions and logic of dumbasses like you that ruined this franchise.

Here's one for you.
Learn to actually have an opinion worth regarding.
