Subject: Question about Grifball

Im not really sure if this is arguable because it is the objective but why is it that people ONLY want to score the bomb and never try to get kills and make the game longer? The points you get for game complete are mainly time in game so when people just try and plant the bomb you average about 500 points a game. It just doesn't make sense because i don't see how spawning, grabbing the bomb, and jumping to plant is any fun at all.

Personally, I think grifball is a waste of time.

probably this.

I changed my play style in Grifball if there is a specific challenge I'm trying to get. For instance, if one of the daily challenges is to "kill 30 enemies with close quarter combat" then I'll hold onto the ball, or have one of my teammates hold the ball, so that we can rack up some of the close quarters combat kills.

spiral out

All about the W/L in casual playlists.

I used to play a lot of grifball. I must say, its only fun when you just sit back and play. Dont worry about winning and dont worry about getting lots of kills. If you are actually going to try, play less casual playlist.

Do you know what the word 'objective' means? It means 'a goal', or 'a target'. So if you are playing a gametype where the objective is to score, the player's literal purpose is to score, anyone not doing so is not playing the game. It's up to you do do so, it's not against any rules or anything, but you can't really complain about the people actually playing the game when you are not.

Credits and kills don't matter, play a gametype you have fun playing. Credit ban yourself, like I do, and you'll have no reason to play any gametype but ones you enjoy, rather than getting the fun sucked out of it by forcing yourself to go for kills/credits instead of just playing a game.

Why would you use a bomb, when a sword gives you 2 CQC per kill? Unless you're not very good at it I guess, but you get double towards cqc challenges/commendation if you use sword.

You're kidding right? you are trying to refute my objective point when i started that im that sure if the topic is arguable for that very reason.
