Who the hell do you think I am?

Does the webteam still check this email? I remember quite a while ago I sent in a couple emails but never got a response. It doesn't seem that they still answer questions sent to there.

I think they still check it, they just don't send out responses.

Only the webteam probably knows that I've never sent one though They usually respond on here pretty fast when something is wrong anyway.

But isn't it there to get assistance from the webteam?

What's the point of it if they don't respond?

Haha I bet they abandoned that email when users started using it to report Halo 2 cheaters. Good times.

I'm pretty sure it's meant for reporting bugs, if you are wanting assistance your best bet is probably to post about it in this forum.

<3 THE SALTY CHIP

I doubt they check it anymore.

Sing for me, will ya?

I'm not sure if they check. They may check but just not reply.

It's probably only there if you encounter a bug that prevents you from posting on the forums. For most things you can just post about them, but if you couldn't then you could email. I imagine that if such a bug was noticed by the webteam they would use the email instead of the forums.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

We monitor trends. We look for patterns in the chaos, like watching television static to spot ghosts.

If we wrote responses to everything that came in, we would do nothing else. We would also be buried under affordable pharmaceuticals.

I doubt that many people actually email it due to its history of never responding to anything ever.

And not responding to ANYTHING is silly, in my opinion. It's like going to the police, reporting a murder, and going home not knowing if it was ever resolved at all.

The thousands of emails sent to that inbox suggest otherwise.

I don't think you quite understand the scale of the problem.

So, as Deej says, we regularly look at it, categorizing it, watching for trends, looking for things that the FAQs and autoresponder don't cover, etc., etc.

We'd love to craft a personal response to every message, from the threats to the requests for help to just the "good game" messages... but there are a just handful of us, and many more of you.

Couldn't you guys just assign The Soul the role of responding to the emails?

He's got nowhere to go, fast.

Understandable. I s'pose I just didn't understand the scale of how much you receive from all the "do you send emails to bnetbugs@bungie.net?" threads where people say "no", "why would I?", etc.

Jack of all trades, master of none.

People actually send emails to that account? I find pressing f5 works much better...

Once in a blue moon problems to arise that F5 would not fix.

That's when you press it twice.

f5 fixes all problems.
