The world is not beautiful: And that, in a way, lends it a sort of beauty.
~Kino's Journey
Say i saw a blatantly obvious troll thread, now the obvious action to take would be to report and move on, but knowing the nature of this site, i know people are bound to post, so instead of reporting and moving on I instead do what a wise forum ninja once told me "inform people of the right course of action".
The problem with the latter method is that by posting i've only bumped the troll's thread, if only there was a way of posting my helpful message without helping said troll.
And then it hit me, 4chan happens to have a feature that does exactly this, if you add the word "sage" to your post on 4chan then the post doesn't bump the thread, but still shows up; All the web team would have to do is take this feature, change the bump denying word from "sage" to "report and move on"(or something similar) and bango! we now have a way to help other forum goers without helping the people we're trying to stop.
