I <3 you too Bungie

So I bring this up because I find it hysterical, and I'm wondering if anyone else ever experiences this. Every now and again, I run into what I'll call "halo guys" in my professional interactions.

Ex. 1

I waltz into my normal workplace wearing the Per Audacia Ad Astra t-shirt. All web developers, totally cool to wear t-shirts, and that shirt doesn't scream video games. A contractor was visiting (upstanding guy, excellence impersonated) the studio, and he stopped me in my tracks to tell me he loves Halo, loves Bungie, and almost flunked college because of Halo 2. Laughs ensued. Bro-love (sans -blam!-) abounded, and we went our separate ways after 3 minutes.

Ex. 2

Just today I was getting some log-in info from a San Fran based web studio. If I told you guys the name, anyone familiar with web and AI would know it. I was getting some login info for a server and noticed that the pw was an alphanumeric amalgamation of Gravemind. The guy who manages this stuff is their IT Director.

Anyone else ever run across Halo/Bungie stuff at work or somewhere you totally don't expect to see it?

Old School Gamer and Proud Member of the Seventh Column

I wore my Bungie t-shirt to Disney World and got stopped multiple times.

One Disney employee told me how much he loved Bungie and admired me for working there. I insisted I didn't, but he kept telling me how cool I was. Pretty sweet.

I think what happens most is exactly what you're talking about. If I have some visually identifying Halo or Bungie thing, people stop me. Funny thing is, I never do that to other people--so I'm curious if that's mainly non-community people who do that.

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

I am a lab assistant at my university. I have a picture of Halcylon's Halo galaxy image my desktop. Upon completing a quick presentation on proper lab report format, several students noticed and commented on the image, saying how much they loved Halo.
