it is fare.and it is more about the way you play.
Active camouflage:
radar gets a bunch of red dot everywhere. with makes it harder for both to see each other, but not to easy for the one with the camo.

Armor lock:
only limited amout of shield, with can be destroyed. it is also kinda hard to kill someone after you loose it.

jet pack:
you get sniped in the air, but they have a higher vantage point sometimes.

you get the picture??? seems fare enough for me.

Yeah on Heroic. On Legendary, they're next to useless again. You can't use them without getting shot, like in H2 and H3. Reach's Heroic is somewhat similar to CE but Reach's Legendary is abomination.

This is a huge difference between Reach and previous halos.

Smaller teams should still get access to vehicles somewhere.

All of the 4v4 playlists in reach attempted to be MLG clones and the result is stale gameplay in that field.

Forge is the number one reason why HR failed. If Forge didn't exist we wouldn't have gotten those incredibly crappy user maps that ruined and flooded matchmaking. Also that forge contest was a total joke and BS.

The only vehicles I REMEMBER gotten rid of was the chopper, it was pretty cool. But the one I didn't remember was the prowler, and I'm pretty sure no one liked it. And I kind of like the new hornet- I er, mean falcon.

dude, for a Halo fan you dont pay attention to the story do you? Halo Reach's story took place BEFORE Halo 1-3. that is why the UNSC is weak in the first 3 Halos. cuz the Reach story gave a view as to what happened before Cortana got to Master Chief and what it took to get Cortana to him. Noble teams mission was to try to save Reach, but when that turned to hell, their new mission was to take the program Dr. Halsey created and give it to another Spartan which would lead into the reason why Halo 1-3 came into being.

and im not even a Halo fan. i just pay attention to the story.

1. Reach felt incredibly weak, for a planet that was supposedly as strong as earth, it could even defend itself from one super carrier. Wasn't it suppose to have dozens of orbital defense cannons that could wipe out super carriers? Furthermore didnt it have nuke silos on the ground all over the planet? When you go up into space half the planet is already glassed, and that was before the armada showed up.




So you didn't catch the fact that Reach was taken by suprise by an overwhelming force of the covenant. Not to mention that comms were destroyed to slow down the defense.

Remember, this was when The covenant were at their fullest. Loads of soldiers and vehicles. There is so much a video game can show and there are many reasons why Reach fell. If you aren't pleased then either piss off or read "The fall of Reach" book.

at its core, reach was designed to be easy for someone totally new to the franchise(casuals) to pick up and play. this virtually destroyed the skill gap and gave unskilled players a crutch for every shortfall. this pleased crap players while pissing off their loyal fanbase that stayed with them since halo first hit the market, some even before that. its a smart business tactic but damned if real halo fans didnt get a knife in the back...

agreed and it seems that halo 4 is following the same path as reach did of not being halo. there bringing back AA. AND YOU CANNOT PLAY AS AN ELITE IN THIS ONE! this is a shame because elites were there as playable since halo 2 and mods for halo 1. and i liked the elites it kept halo fresh and away from the CoD pit of death that reach is leaning over. reach is not halo and you know what its unworthy of the name. should just be called reach. halo is fun and addicting. i stayed with halo 3 until reach came out. and its hard to still like reach because its not as addictive as halo 3 was. and reach is becoming very boring. i think bungie had it right in the beta the beta was fun and had a different feel to it. the beta felt much more balanced and more fun

forge world sucks most it is water so who cares that was the least important thing ever, reach actually took a step back, when the hog get hit the player takes the damage what the heck is up with that, spawn killing is worse than halo 3, maps are pure crap all of them, a.a suck, the whole story was wrong, the list can keep going on and on my friend why look at what little was improved when so much was left to fix. most people want a fun fair game weather you lose or win. reach dosent even do that so i have to agree it was a massive failure, lets hope halo 4 is nothing like reach cuz we will see a population of 100000 or so with in a year just like in reach

reach the game was nothing like the fall of reach the book, for instance the pillar of autumn was in space heading to the covnant home world when the got the call to turn around bk to reach not sitting in the middle of nowhere waiting to be launched and there was no lousy spartan 3's ever so maby you should piss off and read the book your self before you say something

Spiker and Plasma Rifle does the same damage.
Marines dont kill enough Covenant, even if you give them a Sniper Rifle they wont even kill a grunt.
Not alot of forgeable maps.
