So so tired that 5 minutes after I post I get at least 3 messages from people asking me to join their groups. So so tired. I block and I block, yet they keep coming!

blocking won't work because there is always a different person sending you an invite each time.

I know. I will state right now: If your group has Spartan in its name, I won't join. Nothing personal, just a fact.

Also anything with ODST in it. I used to get invites to a lot of groups with ODST in their name. I wonder what happened. In general anything in Latin is over rated. Just because you translated it into a dead language doesn't make it cool.

Oh, god. I forgot about all of the ODSTs. For awhile they were like OSTDs: as soon as I touched a forum they would start poooping up. And just when you think they're gone and you're clean - BAM!

OMG - Gaming for the fun of it in the UK and Europe

Ditto Ash. How many groups say:-

"Bungie listen to our Halo 3 ideas!"

Of course they do.

Go take your Ritalin.

And stop the PM's. If you are going to invite me to a group, at least personalise the message. Your generic invite will not wash in my individualistic environment.

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

I haven't gotten one in a while. I have only joined one group recently, and that was a BF2 group I found in the flood.

The only OSDT one I joined was OSDT Recon when it was just starting.

Very rarely have I recieved PMs advertising to a group I would be interested in. While I don't think a "No Spam" list would necessarily be a good thing, I wish that people who are going to send PMs would actually try to send a good PM, rather than the copied dribble that doesn't tell me why I should be interested in the group.

One guy I saw had what looked like a good idea to prevent those pesky group invites. In the bottom of his sig in italics, right above the 'message user' button he wrote "Do not send me a group invite. I will not join your group."

You guys could try it out, it might work.

Recon, I've tried it. Fun for a bit. But usually what happens is that they make me a moderator!

You could always reply back that you can't wait to join their group.

That you have always wanted to be a part of a private club where you and close friends can talk about the really important things in life. Like your cats, you have lots of cats..... dozens, and they all have names, and you love talking about them and talking to them. And they talk back to you too.

Let the group recruiter know that you and your cats just can't wait to have new collection of best friends to talk with. Of course your cats will talk the most, after all, there are more of them. Plus, they tell you to do things. Horrible unspeakable things......

You wonder why all of your other friends don't talk with you anymore. But it's really good that someone sent you an invite, so you can have more new friends. Until Mr. Peepers says that those friends have to die.

What do I do if I have a leprachaun telling me what to do...ozens of the little guys. and there pet ninja.

It makes everyone seem like a telephone solicitor, or... PM solicitor - all the same, everyone that sends invites to their groups are annoyances.

I do not understand why people get so pissed off because they receive group invites. Is it that bad? Wow, it takes you thirty seconds to open the PM and look at the group. If I don't want to join the group, I simply send them a reply back saying thanks for the offer, but I don't want to join. More people should do that when it comes to group invites. Of course there is always the Ignore List, so that specific member who sent you the invite won't bother you again.

When you get atleast 1 or 2 a day, it can get really annoying. Everyone can have there own opinion. Some hate, some don't care. I however will be taking the words of Recon very highly over the next few invites... : )

I get enough junk/spam in my email. I don't need it here on Bungie, too.

Sadly, spam works on the fact that it is amazingly cheap. You can send 100,000 pieces of spam for practically nothing. You don't need many people to respond to make it worth while.
