Didact's Reprisal -
Now is the time of our unworlding
One final effort is all that remains
And I am not afraid
We shall fulfill our promise
We fight for the grace of the Mantle
And this time none of you will be left behind

This is an odd question to ask at this point in time, but I am curious. I don't remember much about the group, but I think it used to have such importance back when folks were really excited about a possible Halo movie. The group became popular enough to become its own website.

Unfortunately, both the group and the website are now for all intents and purposes defunct. The "administrator" for the HMC is an usurper and refuses to reopen the group even today. The website has also been transformed into a low-activity site with a different objective.
The Halo Movie Clan movement is dead.

Anyway, my question is this: how much do you remember of the group? Do you have any fond memories of it? Or has the group escaped your memory, as it has for mine for far too long? Perhaps you just haven't been here long enough. That's a shame. I think.

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”
- Dawes, A little bit of everything

Those the people who made the HMV's? Or am I thinking of Hollywood Halo or something?

No. It was essentially just a fangroup on Bungie.net in favor of a Halo movie. It used to be one of the largest groups on the site, if I remember correctly.

Here is what remains of the original group.

I remember it. I was never part of it, but it was big enough that everyone at the time knew about it.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

I was a member of that group for a few months.... i really was hoping for the movie. Especially after the Halo 3 live action teasers.
