I played through the campaign twice and didn't really like it.
shortD42 is aBK is the mild version of Separatist Unggoy lol

More like a Sepratist Unggoy who has been kidknapped, beaten, tortured and jailed for his insolence

Great Journey: Last mission, I have tried countless glitches.
Have you tried making an army of Elites at the Tartarus battle? An army of Johnsons is one thing. An army of grenade throwing Spec Ops and sword pulling Councilors is another.

BUT THE DIG SITE IS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CITY!!!

Gravemind- Just because of the ending battle with the breaking benjamin song playing

Outskirts- Because of the countless hours of playing it

Quarantine Zone- Because of the shipmasters speech.

High Charity- Set up halo 3

Delta Halo- Tanks

Sacred Icon- Because it scared the complete blam! out of me when i was younger. I seriously would run upstairs crying at how frightened i was. Ah the days of being 6 years old

Cairo Station- Jumping and exploring around the base in space gravity

The Arbiter- First time as an elite

Metropolis- Trying for so many hours to get the stupid scarab gun (still never have)

Oracle- Dropping the base (dubstep joke) :)

Regret- First time i ever used a fuel rod gun

The great Journey- Using cheats and unlocking foundry for multiplayer

Uprising- Never really connected with this one

So it still doesn't work for you? Damn, maybe it's exclusive to the PC version.

Nope. I tried it last week. Maybe once I get a better PC I can see if it's something on my end.

Did you let the initial waves die (2 Zealots, 1 Councilor, 3-4 Elites)?

Did you let Johnson get to his sniping perch?

I believe those 2 are quite essential. I should have mentioned it in my tutorial. I'll add it right now.

Yes, I AM just that awesome.

OS- Sword-Flying Practice and speedrunning (suck it, SG), and Earth
Metropolis- Earth, Scarab gun, so much sword flying off of Wraiths
The Armory: Just for running
Indifferent on the rest.

Ok I will.

But Uprising is much better for speedrunning.

  • 05.15.2012 7:10 PM PDT

Hanger one I just shredded with the SMGs until ammo was out and I just threw 'nades like a boss while BRing.

My experience playing Cairo Station on Legendary

Sacred Icon and Quarantine are probably the best to just speed-run.

I don't think it's possible to get a faster time after seeing H2DS.

I didn't have sword flying in mind. I was thinking movement and jumping.

So when you said sword flying practice, you meant for speedrunning? I thought you meant the usual fun.

Both, I came in wayyy too late to be able to actually get a record on Halo 2, but I've got a few tricks up my sleeve that give me an idea that I'm not too late to get some Reach done.

Jackal snipers were pretty entertaining on this level imo. I forgot to mention that it's one of my least favorites because of the boss battle. My reaction to the infinitely spawning Grunts and Elites at the boss battle.

The Oracle: I hate that elevator to hell.
You know it's possible to skip it right?

Thinking back, it was those same infinite elites with swords that freaked me out. And you must share your wisdom about skipping with me.

lol yeah. One of the things I learned about them is to never venture to their spawn points. There's times where they spawn right behind me! And if I go into the rooms, I'm screwed if I open the door.

The only way I could do it Legendary all skulls was if I made a blockade so I could return to that blocked off area without being charged by multiple Elites.

The key is to trigger the elevator to descend. To do this, you must let your allies die.

You have to get to a higher ledge where you'll be safe and after your allies are dead, cloak, land on the elevator, then jump to another platform. After this, it's just a lot of waiting. Then you have to carefully make your way down until you're close enough to jump back on.

I'll get a vid uploaded later.

The multiplayer was almost as good as Halo 3's, but let's be honest. Halo 2's campaign was crap. There's a reason why this game only sold 8 million copies. It's a hardcore competitive game, not a casual game with a deep and intriguing story.

To have boss fights in a war game is the lamest thing I ever saw.

Halo 2 is not just about multiplayer. I found the the story to be the best in the series, the two sides and the civil war and everything. Why dont you like it?

And dont say because of the clif hanger endng. People who are butthurt about that need to get over it, especially after seeing what happened next in Halo 3

Gravemind- the ending is fantastic
Outskirts- love free-running the roofs

True that.

The only reason that I expressed any interest was because of customization/glitching potential in the Tartarus fight.

I thought the fight would have been decent if the chamber had been filled with water, similiar to Paper Mario's water temple level. If it included a full on battle with brutes (Your elites vs their brutes) then it would have seemed like a real battle.

Personally I found the boss battles weren't really like boss battles you would find in a platformer. Bosses don't have increased health or anything (apart from tartarus's shield) and I felt the battles were realistic and were actually what would've happened in the story. For example sesa refumee has the same health and shields as a normal heretic elite, Tartarus would have those shields because he is the chieftain of the brutes, and regret is a prophet so he understandably has an over shield, but he is easy to kill
