RIP Bungie Service Records. You shall be missed.

Who cares, it's a noobish medal to get anyway. Who starts with AL anyway?

Why even bother, really?
I rage.

If you really think that grenades can kill you in one hit, what's stopping you from throwing a grenade at your feet and testing yourself?

Either way, does it matter if you get the Rejection medal for blocking something that will really really hurt you, fatal or not?

Aren't grenades that you throw yourself less lethal to you than the ones the enemy throws at you? I know for sure the grenades your teammates throw don't hurt you as much as the enemies grenades, and I think that the same rule MIGHT apply to grenades you throw yourself.

You have got to be kidding.

Let it go.

Armor lock some more and shut up.

I've died from one grenade with half shield and full health.

Let me clarify:
If a teammate throws a grenade and you're within the blast radius, you will take less damage than if you had been in the blast radius of an enemy grenade. Instead of completely turning off friendly fire, Bungie makes it so you take reduced damage from teammates attacks. I've been accidentally shot by teammates, and I have noticed I don't take as much damage from a bullet from a teammate as I would from a single enemy bullet.

So, I'm guessing since that your grenades don't hurt your teammates as much as they hurt your enemies, that maybe your own grenades wont damage you as much as the enemies grenades would damage you. Make sense?

I don't get what the point of your post was.

I don't usually start with armor lock, unless I'm in a cramped map where going into armor lock is the best way for me to avoid the constant grenade spam. Honestly, I agree that armor lock is pretty noobish, but grenade spam is even noobier, and grenades are really tedious to avoid in the more cramped maps.

I use whatever armor ability seems best for the particular situation, with sprint and armor lock usually being the two most useful armor abilities.
