Subject: Energy Sword vs Gravity Hammer.

"To me, a nice triple kill with the sniper is infinitely more impressive than any Living Dead Killionaire"

Does flaming people on forums count as an esport?

I'm a commendation/achievement/statistics freak.

-David (Drake)

vs. each other, hammer.

vs. other opponent, sword

vs. vehicles, hammer

"We live in a special time; the only time where we can observationally verify that we live in a very special time" - Lawrence Krauss.

I was a finalist :P

Sure it can lunge farther, but the hammer blast that comes out is farther than the distance where the sword can lock on to lunge, so you can actually kill people farther away with a hammer than a sword if they don't have full shields.

If both were on a map and I the option to swap one for the other, I'd probably take the sword if it's a mid to close range map, and the hammer if there are vehicles on it.

Which is where situations come into play. It's much safer to lunge using the sword when compared to using hitting the ground using the hammer (on a distant opponent). With the latter, you're estimating that they're within the AOE zone, and have low enough shield to ensure a kill; where as with the sword, you are locked into an almost certain kill, provided that you lunge when your reticule appears red.

Every single killionaire I have is unboosted. 22 from grifball, 4 from LD.

Hammer has the AOE and the capacity to flip vehicles when timed correctly; where as the sword is fast and has a much greater lunge capacity.

So...I guess it's more determinant on situations which occur in-game.

Sure it can lunge farther, but the hammer blast that comes out is farther than the distance where the sword can lock on to lunge, so you can actually kill people farther away with a hammer than a sword if they don't have full shields.

In Grifball, Hammer > Sword > Bomb

Matter of Opinion, I for one disagree

I'm with this guy. I'll kick your hammer's ass with my sword.

Basicasic AGLA host check analyses:
American 110 vs Australian 80
U.K. 100 vs Australian 85
Canadian 105 vs Australian 80

Because of this, my hammer vibration in Grifball came about a second later, so I had to sword tank the whole entire season, as well as one of the most negative in the league.

And my team, consisting of only one American and the rest all Aussies, came 10th out of 60-something American and U.K. teams overall in the GGL this season. You be mirin? :)
