I remember finding some -blam!- on the Gallery forum linked thread. No one noticed it. PM got it fixed in a couple of minutes.

My Screenshots / My Group / Remember to follow the rules or you will get trapped in a box.

I report then PM a few mods. I only PM if its a link to bad site. I haven't had to do that too often though.

I report more than I post. Besides, I'm pretty sure some of the mods are sick of how many PM's I send them.

I don't mind you guys hitting up my inbox. It's just not very productive if I'm asleep.

I actually prefer PMing a mod to report a thread because there is a greater chance of getting a response from them. Moderator response PM's are awesome!!!

But. On the other hand. Hitting the report button is quicker.

I normally just hit the report button, but if I see something really bad, I'll pm a mod.

How would you know what moderators are on to PM? And what does the Report button even do?

So what? You got Bungie.net to alert you like Facebook notifications on a cell phone?

I prefer to use the report button. If I PM a mod, even if I know they're online, I have to hope my PM stands out from all their other ones and that they'll get to it soon. The way the report button works, I think it'll just get handled by whatever mod is online and ready to handle it at the time, right?

Sometimes I'll PM the user, though, if it looks like a case where it's just someone new to the site who didn't know where to post a thread or something like that.Posted by: RC 1207 Sev

I do both in circumstances where the thing I'm reporting is severely needing attention asap.
I feel as though the report button could use an add-on or two....Basically something to identify what's being reported....Though I know Bungie went with simplicity in this case.
I thought (though I could be totally imagining this) that the reason we don't have a feature like that is because if it isn't obvious to the mod why the post was reported, it probably didn't need reporting. Something like that.

Yes. Notifications from Bungie.net mobile will pop up on my phone but that's irrelevant to my original statement. Generally, people PM moderators because the issue is "urgent." If something is PMed to me in the middle of the night, it won't get handled til the morning when I wake up, at the earliest.

I'm just giving you a hard time, dude. Simmer.

I think I've sent one PM to a mod. It really should only be done if a thread(s) gets too out of hand. The porch threads, for example. Reporting seems to work fine, just do it more.
