Halo 2 > Halo 3 > Halo 3 ODST > Halo Reach > Halo CE

Based on campaigns.

I am wondering how you get a thread stuck to the top of the page

Positive vibes.

Well, without overcomplicating things, I'm guessing they (meaning the Forum Ninjas and/or Bungie Employees) just stick it...at the top of the page...

;)

Who the hell do you think I am?

With a some glue.

No, but really. If a moderator thinks it's a quality or important thread, they'll stick it. Although that's for pinned topics at the side. The ones at the top are mostly just rules or FAQ's.

Well obviously they would have to feel it was important enough to make a sticky, but yes I suppose so.

I would like to have a thread sticker explaining to everyone that Halo 3 can't be shutdown without Live for the 360 going down. Seems there is a lot of worrying going on

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

If it is worthy of a sticky, then yes.

We don't sticky threads unless they're really important (generally). We wouldn't probably sticky anything about Halo 3 because Bungie isn't supporting it. Its not their realm to state what/will happen to Halo 3.

Edit: Plus we don't speak for Bungie anyway... which is another thing all together.

Actually, the topics on the right side of a forum are Top Forum Topics. These are displayed based on how many times the thread is saved, unless something has changed recently.

A thread is a sticky (or pinned thread) when it's at the top of the main list and stays there. These threads are explicitly chosen to be there by users with a high enough security role, like moderators and administrators.

Likely, OP, you won't have much of a chance of getting "stickied" - this is normally reserved for serious business. But you certainly could have a topic become a Top Forum Topic and show up on the right side.
