If anyone was either reading the forums as this was being posted (moi) or bothered to look, only one person said "Wow Halo 3 sucks" and about two others said "Yeah it might". The rest were just as optimistic as we are.

Alpha makes it seem worse than it is.

They have their opinions; you have your opinions. Don't bash them for their opinions even though they will bash you for yours. Don't go to their level. The wars between H2S and B.net are over (remember those days?), and we don't need to relive them.

Making a website based off a game you have yet to play is completely stupid and childish.

Those members need real lives.

Oh... And Omen.

I find it amusing you're retorting to name-calling and other childish remarks to people have who their own opinions about the folks at Halo2Sucks.com. Your purpose in this thread was to say we all have opinions and we should learn to accept them and move on, yet, ironically enough, you're here, at the same time, contradicting yourself by doing worse.

Name-calling? Oh yeah? Show me where I called him a name. Don't try using the "jackass" against me, because I didn't say he was one, I said he's making himself look like one, a jackass-facade, if you will.

His opinion is fine, I totally respect it, I merely pointing out the flaws in his logic and assumptions. Granted, I'm doing it in a rather harsh way, but I'm not name-calling, and by no means was my response childish.

On a side not about the site... I thought I'd mention that 86% of their content is contradictary. The top 1000 things to hate about Halo 2... it basically leaves you with an empty black box. The letters to Bungie are poor and contain many spelling and grammar mistakes... its just not somethign to be taken seriously, just as game suggestions from this board aren't to be taken seriously. Will they possibly get a look? Maybe. But Bungie has in mind what they have in mind. They know what they're doing and they're going to to it right, so Iguess, all in all, it doesn't matter.

I've asked them before, and the reasoning is "it's a joke". The top 1000 is anyway.

Oh, and Great_Pretender is right... basically all of the upper members on the forum are saying how much potential the game has and how the fanboy hating of Bungie has jaded their views. They're ripping on the guy who bought the domain. I'm still thinking of putting in a bid for when either of hte domains run out (since I doubt they leased them for more than a year).

Let them think that Halo 3 sucks then, let them miss something good. I don't care. It's their own fault. There are even people that are against fusion power, you know, the one similar to the sun, atoms being smashed together, producing more electricity than it uses, and it's fuel is sea water, and there is plenty of sea water, how can anyone be against a cheap powersource that doesn't polute? Maybe not the same with Halo 3 but there will always be people that are against superubergreat ideas

I've seen quite a bit of talk about how some are apparently going to rent Halo 3, because since "Halo 2 was an obvious failure" Halo 3 cannot be trusted.

Most of the people I have known who didnt approve of Halo 2 were mad about the Pistol not being in the game, next was because of the hitbox (which is a necessity I might add), and then most of them jumped on the "Halo 2 is noobified" bandwagon and became aquainted with some things that others viewed as noobified.

Whats to be upset about from the trailer? Nothing, except because of anticipation of what weapons will be in, what the non-cinimatic graphics will be like, etc.
