Here's the specs for the Macbook Pro off Apple's website:

* 667MHz frontside bus and main memory
* PCI Express architecture
* Up to 120GB Serial ATA hard drive
* ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 with up to 256MB memory on 16-lane PCI Express
* ExpressCard/34 slot
* Dual-link DVI, VGA adapter included
* FireWire 400, FireWire 800 (17-inch only), and USB 2.0 ports

Looks like it would be ok to me. It's got to be better than a Dell with integrated graphics, and people play on them.

itd probably run alright. The x1600 is a midrange card, and considering that halo is kinda old I'd say you could run the settings at mid to high.

OMG. You've got a great Mac much higher than the recommended specs for Halo PC. Of course it will handle HPC.

Sweet! Another Mac user!

And here are Halo's minimum requirements, right from the box:

Minimum
Macintosh computer with 800MHz G4/G5 or faster processor,
Mac OSX v10.2.8 or higher,
256MB RAM,
32MB AGP Video Card (GeForce 2MX/ATI 7500 or better),
1.4GB hard disk space.
Internet of LAN connection required for online play.

Recommended
1GHz G4/G5 or faster processor,
Mac OSX v10.3, 512MB RAM,
64MB AGP Video Card (GeForce 4ti-ATI 9000 or better).

Yep, you're well covered to play Halo.

just because they say minimum, doesnt mean that it will play well. I guarentee if you have the lowest specs you will have poor gameplay.
