It's like a gigantic snowball, rolling down a mountain, eating kids on the way.

I met one on here first and then actually met him in real life. He's a pretty good buddy of mine :)

RIP Halo 2

Mainly when the door to the apartment is locked it's because someone actually had a reason to, so it makes sense in the storyline. It's really just an excuse for awkward moments, I suppose.

I've met people on here I talk to, but not people I go meet or anything.

DMH | TMA | Blueprint

Can't be too careful with your company. I can feel the devil walking next to me.

I've got my DMH bros and my Blueprint bros.

I don't like anyone here at all.

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

I think i know who you're talking about...

My story is very similar. Met a friend on bungie.net, played a lot on xbox live together, then we finally met one day. He's a good friend, hopefully we'll meet again some day.

I used to talk to some guys from HGS... then the group started falling apart and I haven't been able to stick to a private group since...

  • 04.10.2012 10:06 PM PDT

I've meet some interesting people here.

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

There was a time that I considered several people on this site close friends. Now, we've drifted apart quite a bit. A bit sad to think about, but life goes on.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.
~M.D~

There's a couple people I really like on this site.

Achronos: And what's this about a "design team" I've been hearing? Apparently stosh is so awesome he's now considered a "team".

I have made "friends" on here. I have never met them though.

:)

I may recognise people on the site from time to time, but I don't consider anybody here my 'friend'.

The tide is turning, brothers! Let us take our kingdom back!

I've met some ridiculously awesome people on this site, and consider them to be the greatest of friends. Hopefully, I'll meet more in due time.

...ladies.

I'd like to believe that I have gotten to know a few of the people around hereover the past few years, and hopefully I haven't come off as too much of a jerk. I do hold this community like a get-away when I am bored, and even a little closer than I do than some of my friendships, which doesn't say a lot for some of my friends. But my time here has definitely been enjoyable thanks to the people here (mods included).

And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven stone from stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight corners of the World. The moon was blood, and the sun was as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.

Canada isn't that important that it needs two of the same threads on page one.

I guess I'm part of that 10% then, eh?

Directly from B.net, zero, zip, nada. Not surprising, though, seeing as the majority of B.net is in love with gaming consoles. Filthy casuals.

I think this thread is about internet friends or something, so I would probably answer it with a 'nope'.

Unfortunately I've made none, I used to have a vast collection of friends online. Ones who I talked with daily, chatted with in skype.

I considered them irl friends minus them actually being in front of me.

Sadly we all have dispersed into various other engagements. They were good times though. I wouldn't mind some Bungie.net friends as well.

Seems unlikely for the time being but I'll be here either way.

I have a couple friends on here, and i kickstarted my VA career on here as well. I think it's entirely possible to make real, true friends on this site it just depends upon how well your comraderie is.

Ye. I consider the friends I've made on B.net to be "real". We're all meeting up for PAX this year. Should be good.

I dont think I've made friends with anyone on the Community Forum. But the group I'm in, Forever Forgers, is shutting down and I'm really sad about that because I've made countless friends there, and everyone I knew was all supportive if each other. We all felt like a family, not friends. I've yet encounter anyone here to be considered my "friend", but I've made friends on this site.

The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success.

The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence.

As you waste your breath complaining about life, Someone out there is breathing their last. Appreciate what you have.

If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything.

Why is the apartment only locked when it's necessary to the storyline?...
I stopped reading here. Not because i wasn't interested. I'm just mind blown.

  • 04.11.2012 7:05 AM PDT

If you are watching this you have clicked on my profile or stolen this. I dont know why you would do that...

About me? I love Astronomy, I like to play guitar and watch anime. My future lies in Astronomy and so does the future of all of humanity. You should join my Astronomy group Space Explorers.

I have made many friends here. My definition of real friends isn't that easy to explain so I tend to seperate it into:

-Internet friends
-Friends IRL I have known for a while
-Classmate friends

To be honest, the people I know in real life takes priority as I know them so much better. If I were to come in contact with and meet people from the internet, then I would be true friends with them.
