I loved Halsey's character, and I don't understand why Traviss had to go and make Halsey seem like the ultimate villain in the halo universe. You really could tell through the way she wrote the ODST's lines how SHE really felt about Halsey. I hope not too much in Halo 4 is based off of Glasslands. If you can explain what Traviss changed about Halsey as a character, rather than merely presenting a perspective of Halsey's actions that weren't her own (Halsey's thoughts on her own actions, that is), or that of a Spartan-II, I'd greatly appreciate it.
In glasslands, it's all about perspective. Nearly every character we got to hear from came across as utterly hating Halsey (Even Mendez, which is utter bull-blam!-.)
Dounut didn't say Traviss changed Halsey as a character, he said she made everybody see Halsey as an evil mad scientist with no care for her actions. You don't think that's at all realistic?
