How would you like to be able to change your surroundings to fit the nature of your game.

Types: Night, Day, Dawn, Dusk. heavy fog, clear skys
Dim and dark for close night time fire fights
Clear open air for sniper or air engagments.
Thick fog for close combat
Night for increadble fire fights while you search for foes light flashes from gun barrels brighten your screen.
maybe even rain snow efects for cetain levels

What do ya think!?

I think it would be awesome to fight in like a thick fog in the rain or at night so it would be harder to see your enemies and prvent getting sniped by a player on the other side of the board

maybe they could make the weather change sometimes as the game progresses. e.g. a sandstorm in a desert like map, or rain which comes and goes throughout the match.

Dust storms should be for desert maps and snow for snow maps. It would be cool if it was random during live so even the weather changes per game.

i agree

See, when you make it so i will be able to change weather effecs to snow. You would have to have more to it than that, weather affects vehicle performance, weapon performance and such. I play scenario paintball so i know that when you Barrel gets to cold (from high rates of fire when using CO2) your barrel can drop almost 30 degrees in temperature causing it to be less accurate. Also, i would laugh my ass off if they put Penguins in coag.

That would be cool, in a dust storm your shield flicker from the dust hitting it...

The would be a snipers haven.

Love you Bungie!
Still playing Halo1 Custom Edition!

I believe the weather should go with the map... but yes It does need to be a parameter i mean, no sandstorm on lockout, but different snow storms, winds and such would fit as same as rain, sandstorm and clear sky on blood gulch could fit

One game I'm not joking a little like 7 year old said and I quote " tell me what your dick looks like so I can imagine it in my head and beat off to it"

If Team Swat became ranked, would there still be no shields?

Amazing!

We have snow fall during Containment, and there's fog in Backwash.

The fog creates latency, therefore the same may do the same as it did to Backwash for Halo 3.

Sand blowing through the desert is likely to happen since Frankie said it's part of the game engine.

Col Sanders 37- Would you like that original or extra crispy?

I hope you choke on my popcorn chicken!

Eat my crispy strips biotch!

But imagine with the 360's power how awesome it would look!

Capture the flag on Coagulation while it's pitch black and Raining so you can only see the Warthog's headlights coming. The flashes of lightning are the only chance you have of seeing the whole warthog. So the other team decides to shoot out the headlights to keep the element of surprise and the other crouching teamates who are sneaking into the base hope that the lightning holds off for just a little bit longer as to remain undetected.

It would bring a whole nother aspect of strategy to the game. Posting a sniper up high with nightvision to relay the enemy's position to the other teamates because he is the only one who can see their movements.

You have to admit the visual and stratigic changes per match would be incredable.

A mythic member but I speak my mind to much.

That would be amazing

I just hope that bungie reads this so they may add it as an option in Halo 3
