Hey Sliding Ghost! No, launching was really tough but the setup was hard too. I spent a lot of time fooling around with getting a checkpoint to trigger as close as possible on my way back to the first map where the phantom had dropped.
Grumpy bailed me out of a 2 minute ghost ride back for each launch attempt because of his awesome knowledge of QZ. I wish I had that kind of vision and creativity when it comes to understanding the game. I don't. I'm good at things you can learn and practice and then try a billion times but I was never great at pioneering ideas. We all have our strengths and weaknesses I guess.Hey.
I don't understand why Bungie didn't take the checkpoint system any further or replace it because it is flawed imo. H2 ultimately sabotaged it, making it so that you lose the cp if it's delayed too long. But it also introduced 5 times death revert to second last checkpoint (though this wasn't the best solution). You could still delay some checkpoints for a very long time. And meleeing was a new option afaik. H3 got rid of the meleeing and not one checkpoint can be delayed for more than 5 jumps. ODST added nothing. Reach added nothing.
I wish I had that too. I didn't think it was possible to squeeze a Wraith through a small gap and get it through or get a Spectre to the top of Great Journey or squeeze a Banshee through a small tunnel. Then again, vehicles are not my area of expertise. I don't do vehicle collections. I work with AI.
