My friend is coming over tonight who says legendary is easy nad its me and him vs. My 2 brothers and their friends who Ive played against multiple times except for 1. He is not much worse than me at the game, but they will have a numbers advantage so how do we counter this?

Well can you tell us the maps you will be playing on? What gametypes you guys play that would help. If you guys are the best I say seperate and killl them when they are together by using grenades aand hit and run tactics.

We will be playing blood gulch, hang em high, and damnation. We will be playing CTF slayer and KotH on all of them. Do you need anymore advice?

Have respawn growth on. It'll help a lot. It helps my group in 4 on 12 CTF matches. Also hold out, but don't stay still. Make sure their times are way up before you make any form of assualt other than an initial attack at the very beginning of the round.

the only problem with respawn time growth is that they whine about having to wait 30 sseconds all the time lol :)

Yeah...if your playing within earshot of each other then confuse the other team with miss-information. e.g say out loud that you your just about to pick up the rocket launcher to kick some pootang when actually your about to steal their flag and hot-tail it out of there! works a treat =)

I agree with tex on this one, I love that trick (misinformation) in LAN play b/c no one ever knows when I'm full of it or not. Um, also, maybe you could get one or two of the friends to change teams and make it even??? I was just wondering why one side has to have a numbers advantage when you're all in the same building. Oh, and if you're outnumbered, pick on the weak guy on the bigger team, having one extra person means they have one extra person to kill :)

CTF BG:
1)Stop their teleporter
2)Have a sniper in place where he can snipe out someone going to get the vehicle and someone on a vehicle going for your flag
3) Have the person who blocked the teleporter get the power before blue/red base
4) power up guy goes for the flag give him sniper cover or go to the enemy's teleporter get the vehicle off and have him drive to your base while you guard the teleporter.

Hang em high:
1)Stay together but not to close together
2)Use grenades as often as you can (they will probably be in groups)
3)Go for camo and the rocket but don't let them get the rocket or you will be in a world of hurt, unless they suck with it.

Stick together and keep moving. Since there are more of them then you. They'll shoot you in the back whenever they can. Following along a wall limits the angles that they come in on your so you only have to watch a forty five to sixty degree zone. Grenades are your best friend. They'll keep the enemy scattered.

If you're surrounded, an interesting tactic is to constantly charge past your buddy over and over. This way you're always shooting at a guy who's trying to shoot your buddy in the back. This usually throws them off since they're not expecting to be counter attacked.

And the shotgun is your friend. It's designed to tank on multiple opponents at medium range.

Just kill, all you need to do really do is shot them in the head. Also try no shields, but max ur health limitations. So if your health is low, you don't have shields to bounce back on. Then you will have a good game. Where u actually have to use some strategy, instead of just waiting for your shields to recharge.

On any of the KoTh:
Have one guy in there while a sniper covers him
The guy in there though will have to fend himself off if the enemy gets too close

The guy on the hill needs to have a pistol, frags, and a weapon of choice
While the sniper should have a pistol and sniper rifle (pretty obvious)

If you need to take the hill snipe and nade them and much as you please that will be the best tactic since you are out #ed.
