I think what would help the Halo 3 campaign would be less concentration on balancing weapons and such. I think that's why the pistol was lost, the Battle rifle shot three rounds, and the needler was slower than in the E3 preview for Halo 2, among other things. Maybe Bungie should worry a little less about multiplayer balancing and just go with original ideas. The three examples of changes I gave are things I thought were better before the balancing act. People still love the Halo 1 multiplayer even though it's not perfectly balanced. Any thoughts on this?
