"Halo, it's divine wind will rush through the stars, propelling all who are worthy along the path of salvation!"

Which of the novels has the biggest theme for 'survival'? I need it for English class. Thank you!

If you think you're the best fluffy, gun shootin', Brute pwning guy around, you are sadly mistaken... Fear the dreaded "mew"!

I'd go with Contact Harvest.

What kind of school do you go to?!

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

I'd probably say Ghosts of Onyx, the build-up of the Spartan-III companies as children resulting in their deaths in PROMETHEUS and TORPEDO respectively carries a lot of weight. Lucy could be used as a prime example of the costs of survival against all odds because of her post-traumatic vocal disarticulation.

Not to mention that the "Spartans never die" thing is pretty much the central theme of the whole book.

I will own everyone in Halo: Reach

Contact Harvest or Ghosts of Onyx.
IMO both are good for "survival", but Ghosts of Onyx is better in general.
Read that one and I promise you will cry at the end.

I didn't cry. Y U LIE?

In any case, Ghosts of Onyx or Primordium deals with survival heavily.

Five exclamations marks are a good signifier of an insane mind. As is trying to hide from Death in an airtight room. Silly wizard.
