okay, keeping in mind that Halo 3 is a game, i have an idea that would make it more fun (because games are fun). its not an original idea, but it's new to halo.
Anyone here play timesplitters? (if not, shame on u). well i was thinking halo 3 could have a player stats page where you can view totals (meaning a collective total of all multiplayer games) of:
bullets fired, kills, deaths, medals (and number of each medal), headshots, distance moved, time spent crouching, coconuts shot off trees, explosions caused, vehicles destroyed, flag captures, time spent holding flag, and so on. again, these are for a total of all games played, not just at the end of each game.
the possibilites are endless, but I know that people would like to go check out thier personal stats. It's fun, as some would note in timesplitters (i have 600 decapitations and i've shot 6 melons and played as a monkey 17 times).
and my second idea would be akin to the Goldeneye/timesplitters award system. I dont know about you, but just about every1 i play games with loves when they get awards like:
"most professional"
"hoarder"
"pathetic shot"
"brain surgeon"
"most frantic"
"betrayer"
"AC-10 award"
and many other awards. usually players get 2-3 awards at the end of each round. Of course bungie would make up their own award names, but this is a really fun aspect that can be added. it wouln't affect gameplay, but its fun to see how the game recognizes your style.
any thoughts on these ideas?
