If you don't know Alpha Centauri is a binary system, it's the second closet star system to Sol and the system consists of two Sun-like stars, Alpha Centauri A and Alpha Centauri B. It's far closer to Sol than Epsilon Eridani and they are spaced far enough to have their own planetary systems. However, none has been detected, at least for now.

Unfortunately, no mention of it has been made in the Halo Universe. Do you think the UNSC has decided to bypass these two stars? Are there colonies around these stars?

I believe there is no habitable planet in this binary system.

See you on the battlefield.

I don't think there are any planets in that system, at least none that we've found.

However, there are actually terrestrial planets in the Epsilon Eridani system. Whether they are actually habitable or not is another matter entirely.
