Lightning strikes, rain falls, mirrors smash, you're standing too close to me.

I've had this question for a while, but restrained from asking. I was getting up my commendations and after a while I just stopped getting as many credits. I started getting 60 cR for every time I did any kind of firefight or campaign. I can only play offline because the internet is being kind of screwy. Has anyone else experienced this?

Basically, I'm going to be stuck on Warrant Officer Grade 1 for a looong time. And have mediocre armour.

cR is intentionally capped for online profiles playing offline.

Don't get your panties in a bunch about it.

The offline credit system is... horrible. The system deals out only a few credits per game to prevent manipulation. There's no way to track how you earned what you earned, and there's no way to disprove it. So, Bungie decided to throttle the amount of credits you earn. The best way to avoid this is to simply play online.

Ok thanks. I wasn't really looking for a solution so much, I was just curious as to whether or not it was just me.

Still better than you.

.....most of you, at least.

You say that your internet is screwy? Assuming it at least works, you could play Score Attack, which only needs the internet for registering scores etc.

But yeah, what Navweb said.

Must've been because I made a one-off connection to Matchmaking which failed instantly... so unfair. But, in the end, reasonable.
