RIP Bungie Service Records. You shall be missed.

Having your Xbox horizontal instead of vertical helps you get more people showing you how to be good.

Always leave the power weapons for the other person, since they must know what they are doing if they are willing to kill you forty times for the gun.

Why even bother, really?
I rage.

It's so easy to play this game and not get better, ergo so many bad inheritors.

Playing FFA's is probably the easiest way to get better shot wise(always find a dmr), only second to octagon.
As for map movements, watching gameplay commentaries is probably the best way to learn the basics.

>Use guns because bullets can hurt other plays
>We are taught from left to right, so pull left trigger always first then shoot
>DO NOT move the left and right thumbsticks at the same time. the result could be disastrous

-Ignore k/d, playing selfishly to inflate your own stats is often detrimental to the team effort so the sooner you focus on w/l over k/d the better (this does not mean mindlessly rush the objective).

Says the kid who made us fight a man down in Arena because he hid for a perfection.

Ohai, I'm Loscocco (pronounced Loss-cocoa). I'm a college student (computer science major), 3D animator, and long-time Halo player.

Don't ask the MLGbrainwashed Reach forum.

What are some good ways to improve my skill in Halo?
Just curious.

Exactly, you should ask the Waypoint forum for some tips instead... obviously.

Your opinion is invalid.

passive aggressive style.

What does this mean?

It means to be aggressive in situations where doing so will benefit your team and passive in situations where aggression won't benefit you.

It's situational. You need to play for a long time to learn when you should do things.

Main GT, banned forever on XBL: DISORDERRRRRRRR
Before game stalking me:: I boosted my Halo 3 EXP after being banned from XBL forever on this account (July 2011). I boosted and AFKed to Inheritor. I never cared about K/D but boosting grifball came with that.

Play intelligently with a passive aggressive style.

When you need someone who is at least half-decent at Halo, I'm your guy.

Practice, like in Arby n' the Chief.

Every single pummel I have is unboosted.
I play GGL. (Grifball)
I hit inheritor 14/1/12. 16 months after release. I have a life fellas.
Every single killionaire I have is unboosted. 22 from grifball, 4 from LD.

How to practice:
1. Go into Living Dead.
2. Scout out for anybody trash talking or abusing another person.
3. Have a go at him for saying it and challenge him to a 1v1.
4. Let him accept it.
5. 1v1 in octagon, make sure it has team spawns and an anti-spawn on it so he doesn't spawn behind you.
6. Beat him and then trash talk him for trash talking in Living Dead as it is a casual playlist, nothing good about it but a high population.

We have been raised for combat...
We carry our banner to our fights...
Alone we are a menace, together we are a threat...
Born to raise hell, live to drop back in it...
Never retreat, never surrender... we are spartans.

-Keep your wits
-Always think things through
-Keep your eyes on the motion tracker (if you have one) to keep a solid idea of what you might face
-If you don't know what you can do to win in a game involving objectives, do probing attacks to find out which area is the least guarded.
-Use your teams tactics to complement your own. A team rushing one side can easily provide a distraction for you to attack from behind.
-ALWAYS pay attention to what your opponent is doing. If you don't want to get caught off guard, this is a good way to do it.
-Try to develop good ears, sometimes you can get a good idea what's happening behind if you're using scoped weapons.
-DON'T disregard any weapon. ALWAYS keep your options open.

That's pretty much all I can say.
Hope it helps.

OP, ignore most of what this guy said and you'll be set.

I'm sorry if MY tactics work for me man.

He asked for help and I gave it to him.
