Subject: Will/Has Bungie Beta Tester ever been used?

Looking for clan that isn't too serious? Then join the ODST 501st Airborne Battalion. Go to http://www.501st.forumclan.com for more info.

I remember signing up for the Beta Tester when it was first released, but since then nor me or anyone I know on B.net has participated in the program. As I am pretty sure it will be used, when do you think the program will begin?

And please don't say "A couple of months before Bungie's new game is released", because that is only best used as an open beta. As this is a closed one, I would assume Bungie would run it much earlier. If anyone has actually participated in a beta for Bungie's new project, tell us what it was like!

Just because you haven't heard anything doesn't mean bungie aren't taking people in to beta/alpha test.

They most likely have to sign a disclosure saying they wont talk to anyone about it. That could be why we haven't heard anything.

Even if people had took part in a beta test they would have had to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Yeah, they're doing it secretly....

Well we know for a fact numerous people near Seattle have been called into Bungie Studios for some kind of testing, but they are obligated to not reveal what they were testing or who they even were, apparently. What they were testing we, obviously, do not know. If I were chosen, I wouldn't want to blow my chances at doing it again either by telling people about it!

Sorry, no one who's actually participated can talk about it.

Microsoft made a video about their testing procedures, though. It's kind of like that, but awesomer.

Be sure to enroll in their testing program too. You might win the jackpot and get to play Halo 4 and our game early.

Will it look like a slot machine going off when someone wins?

Tin shacks and catfish bones.

The people talking about non-disclosure agreements are the ones that participated in testing.

<.<

I'll just fill this out now.

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

Honeydew doesn't think I can test things. Still haven't gotten invited.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

The Bungie and Microsoft games user research programs are totally separate. But you might get lucky and have each program separately invite you to test something.

Simple. Anyone who talks will never get to participate again.

And there's stuff with lawyers too, but for the kind of people who sign up for our beta program, that's a lesser issue than just being told they're permanently out of the program.

There's something called a "contract".

I've done beta testing for other games for other video game companys, you have to sign a contract of secrecy and cannot tell anything you see. You might pay it dearly if you breake the contract. You know, legal stuff.
