Sorry, no one who's actually participated can talk about it.

So people have been asked to beta test? Interesting.

Simple. Anyone who talks will never get to participate again.

And there's stuff with lawyers too, but for the kind of people who sign up for our beta program, that's a lesser issue than just being told they're permanently out of the program.

I'm still surprised that there isn't any slip of the mouth; I'm probably just underestimating how those penalties effect.

Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

NDAs are a serious thing. I would guess some fairly steep fines at a minimum.

Yeah, they are. I've done some testing with Microsoft, and I can tell you, you do not want to be on the bad side of their legal team. During the Kinect Beta, someone tried to sell some units on Ebay...they found him very quickly.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

You can actually face huge legal fees if you disclose something if you signed a license agreement.

But I don't think there are any testers for project Tiger yet.

I am hoping for a large Beta like Halo 3 and Reach again. :D

That's because honey is understating it. If someone does disclose that they participated they are tortured with a wet noodle for eternity. Worse than the ninja wet noodle. Anyways on topic it seems pretty cool how some people ahve been accepted.

Why are you reading my signature? Who actually opens these things and reads them!

And as always, SEND ME A PM. Please. Or really bad things will happen to you.

I've been asked to fill out a couple surveys as part of it, I wonder if one day I'll get to see what my input is going toward! Preferably before everyone else, too.

Microsoft made a video about their testing procedures, though. It's kind of like that, but awesomer.

Be sure to enroll in their testing program too. You might win the jackpot and get to play Halo 4 and our game early.

Thanks for the link! And what everybody else has said, the idea of never getting to participate again is frightening much less the legal implications of talking.

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.

I'd much rather be filling out NDAs than surveys.

How do you guys keep them from talking, anyway?

I assumed it involved wet noodles....I'm gravely disappointed.
