If you are watching this you have clicked on my profile or stolen this. I dont know why you would do that...

About me? I love Astronomy, I like to play guitar and watch anime. My future lies in Astronomy and so does the future of all of humanity. You should join my Astronomy group Space Explorers.

I often look at the pinned topics of my groups and those from others. I start to wonder how many even look at them. The group itself can be very active, but yet the pinned topics mostly remain undisturbed.

How often do you check them out? What are the best ways to give the pinned topics more attention?

The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success.

The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence.

As you waste your breath complaining about life, Someone out there is breathing their last. Appreciate what you have.

If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything.

Don't pin them and bump them every time you take a breath.

To Make Posts is Glorious

Some threads will get posts before others and it is the duty of the Leadership to ensure that posts are made that best suit the public welfare.

"heh"

Put them at the top of the threads list instead of on the side, just like the regular forums.

Who the hell do you think I am?

That's definitely not the case for some groups.

I consider it to be a library. You don't have to read every book in it. Its there when you need information.

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

The key to having a good set of pinned topics is having as few pinned topics as possible.

There's a word for what I am, but I can't pronounce it.

BFA, CCS - olde and bony & one minute musings.

Different methodologies work for different chapters, I think. Stickies are usually meant to be resourceful on boards, not reapers of discussion (except for "introduce yourself" or something).

Right now, if exposure is actually a problem, I'd say throw links in a group description and force feed that info in a few articles. Or unpin it, if you're not getting a desired audience.

And pin something telling people to pay more attention.

They seem pointless other then to look up random information. If you want a thread to stay active keep it off the side of the page and at the top of the thread list.
