I still need to get an Xbox 360 and at 700 bucks AUS I'm glad its not being released this year. Hopefully when it is released the prices won't be as high.

halo 3 wasnt even announced a full month ago, there hasnt even been a wait yet.

wait until bungie is about 2 months from release and you will feel that same thing.

I think that we actually learned somthing from Halo2 from getting too "hyped up."
We have all lowered our expectations after being promised an game where we fought to "save humankind" as the Halo2 anouncment trailer said. The 8min E3 2004 video got us even more excited with the 8 Jackles doing *arrowhead formation!* and trying to out-flank the chief. In Halo2 all we got was elites randomly climbing on top of a crate...and thats called tactics!
I'm not complaining, I'm stating facts.

Actually it seemed like Earth had no hope in the HAL0 2 trailer. I mean compaired to the HAL0 2 trailer which had earth getting nuked to the HAL0 3 where earth is just conquered instead. It seemed for the most part humans still had some chance (more like prayer) of resistence.

Of course the HAL0 2 trailer and the actual HAL0 2 story were two difrent things. I don't think this trailer will make it into the stoyline. Some parts of it but it will be drasticly changed.

Waiting for halo 2 we had no freakin idea what the game was gonna be like. For halo 3 we have a slight idea thancks to halo 2 and the halo 3 trailer. While im still so anxious for halo 3 that i would excreate a thorn bush from my backside for it, the wait isnt as painful as the halo 2 one was. Who agrees?

Remember in the Halo 2 trailer, Earth was alight and on fire?

It wasnt like that in the game....

They can change what happens, its just a trailer, not the finished product.... We still dont no whats happening really...

I was way more anxious before Halo 3 had been announced - waiting to see if Halo 3 would be the next game was pure hell. Now its calmed down a bit, but I'm sure it'll go mental before too long.

Your balls are showing...bumblebee tuna

The game itsself isn't as hyped...but more so certain elements. Cheating fixes, old levels and weapons being brought back, graphics(ofcourse), and little things I can't think of at the moment. But as beautiful as the multiplayer is...I can't wait for the campaign. Is it possible H3 could have a campaign as fun as MM? hmmmm live-compatible maybe?
